On June 3, thats this coming Tuesday, gun owners must make a decision about the future of the Second Amendment. We must ask ourselves if we are willing to risk our Second Amendment rights for the money and power Thad Cochran brings to the state.
Ive been asked why I support Chris McDaniel so vehemently over Thad Cochran. Cochran has an A rating from the NRA, so if my concern is Second Amendment rights why do I think it matters if our next senator is Cochran or McDaniel?
First, I dont make my decision of whom to vote for or against based solely on NRA ratings. I am a member of the NRA and I support them, but I also have a realistic view of who they are. The NRA is a political organization, and politics lives and dies on power. They associate with the politician that has the most power in Washington and they hope to manipulate that power to accomplish their goal. They dont care if the politician believes as they believe, they dont care about his principles, they just want someone who can be controlled.
I understand that power, manipulation and control is the reality of our political system, but I believe that is why we find our country in such a dire situation. We, as a nation, have got to stand up and end politics-as-usual, we must elect men and women who have real convictions and believe in something more than themselves. The politics of power, manipulation and control has not worked, we are losing freedom everyday, we are sinking deeper and deeper into debt, and our Second Amendment is on the verge of being completely destroyed and even re-written.

Personally I think Cochran is history.
We’ll see soon enough.....
Do you think MS people could do to Cochran what they would have never considered doing to Stennis and Eastland?
I do.
I admit I don’t have a lot of hard data on this. I just feel like McDaniel is a good candidate, and Thad has really piled up the negatives...especially in the last few weeks.
He ain’t worth spit.
He doesn’t have the brains God gave a housefly.
Personally I think Cochran is history.

This is a new day and age Theodore. A lot has changed since the ‘50s.
GMTA - the section of that article you quoted is pure distilled political wisdom and not just about the NRA. Too bad so many will never understand that info and just keep on being Low Information Voters, easily manipulated into status quo voting.
He aint worth spit.

Are you talking about the author of the article or who?
Thad
I do not. Sorry...just following this story from a distance!
I will put him and Lee Bright {SC vs linda grammy} in my prayers for up coming elections.
I told them to kiss my a** a long time ago and I joined the GOA (Gun Owners of America).
They support Dingy Harry. Nuff said
I am not a “low information” voter. I’ll leave that title for you NRA lemmings.
You have an interesting way of winning friends and influencing people when somebody tells you they agree with you. Perhaps you'd like a moment to reconsider your remarks...
