Which network is going to hire Carney as anchor
vanity

Posted on 05/30/2014 2:57:18 PM PDT by airedale

Which MSM network will pickup Carny as an anchor, billing him as a "journalist"? My guess is CNN since ABC already has George Steponolofus and BBC/MSNBC is IMHO already an adjunct part of this administration and the DNC.

I would assume no network will hire Carney as an anchor...because they can’t...

I would bet dollars to donuts there’s a clause in his “goodbye package” that he can only be a paid consultant talking head...

I’m thinking he “deserves” an anchor position since it pays more than a consultant. AND is probably out since his wife works there. Of course he could be a “consultant” while he writes a hagiography to the Obama administration and an attack on FOX News and the Koch brothers.

To be fair, consider the dilemma of a well-known prostitute, who decides to change and enter the normal workforce. Really? Who will hire him or her?

Basically, he’s doomed to a lingering career as an increasingly irrelevant talking head.

Possibly NPR, but rest are non starters except CNN. CNN is dying at least her in the U.S. he’d be tarred with their low ratings for future jobs at other networks if he took any job there except that of a consultant.

“Beckel ain’t looking too good...it appears to me that his left hand is showing tremors”

Yep, although he just might be a nervous Nelly. My best friends Dad had the shakes in his 50’s, and lived to 88. It may have been last Christmas or his Birthday a few months back when he was trying to lift a gift or piece of cake (something) to one of the Panel. If it had been a glass of water a major clean up on Isle 5 would have been needed.

Wish him luck with that, but in the scope of things it may be pretty minor unless it is something like Parkinson's or he fell off the wagon.

CNN and MSNBC are intended to spread the message to regime activists.

They perform that function well.

Because both are owned by monstrously profitable cable companies closely affiliated with Democrat interests, finances are not important.

He would never think of being an anchor, all of whom are mere hirelings (though very expenseive ones), only to have to show up nightly to read the fake news.

Instead he’ll sign on as a lobbyist/consultant in NY/D.C. and be paid pro-athlete sums to provide info about and “access” to those in high places, thereby helping to make up the fake news himself.

He will provide lofty meaningless commentary on MSNBC and elsewhere, on a sparing basis, just to amuse himself, to cover for past and future Democrat scams and atrocities, and to bathe in the love, admiration and vicious envy of the network types who are not he.

Finally he will give speeches to political and corporate gatherings here and abroad, also for ungodly sums, which he will tuck away as a slush fund to calm his unattractive wife for the time being, and to use as alimony when he dumps her within an absolute maximum of five years.
