He wasn’t perfect but he was pretty good.

Absolutely, I voted for him four times for President.

Yep, had the same reservations.

I used to like the guy until I learned more about him.

His own mouth was my source.

“Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour warned Friday that ideological purity is the “enemy of victory””

Translation: “Quit trying to reduce the size of government. How do you expect guys like me to cut deals if you turn the money spigot off?”

WAIT. If you cannot win with ideological purity, why do the rats win with it?

And they promised to protect and close our borders to stop the flow of illegal immigrants. The US Chamber of Commerce members and Gov. Barbour and others of their ilk will be happy as part of the ruling class running the industry and commerce of the country under the thumb of the new National Socialist government of the United States while the rest of us provide the cheap labor. Haley is going to be ticked off Tuesday night when one of his two in the pocket United States Senators, Thad Cochran, loses.

I'm told by the GOP Elites that ideological purity on the part of Conservatives is bad — actually evil — but reaching across the aisle to moderates, perverts, and Democrats is good. I'm told that I'm a bigot and Republicans must embrace the Big Picture — and the Big Picture vote loses every time. Of course, good Republicans aren't allowed to practice the reverse — standing for principles, being FOR something, actually articulating their beliefs (without the GOP Elite filters) — no, we have to be good GOP “moderates” and Big Picture inclusive. Gee, we’re supposed to WIN on this pablum for morons? I don't think so, GOP.

Obama is in our White House because many people did the same for him in 2008.

Hmmm, according Barbour, the problem with the GOP is that it has not compromised enough. Please raise your hand, if you agree with that. Anyone? Bueller. Bueller.

Do you notice, there are never any details on this purity and blind obstructionism charges. Any Republican Politician, who takes the liberal talking points and runs with them against another Republican is a no-good, low-down, power-mad weasel.

As soon as I heard George W. Bush talk about compassionate conservativism and his unwillingness to balance the budget on the backs of the poor, I knew he was trouble. Bush I gave us 8 years of Clinton, Bush II did even better, he gave us 8 years of Obamunism. Thanks, losers.
