U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor, R-7th, is portraying himself as a bastion against illegal immigration in fending off a June 10 primary challenge from Dave Brat, a professor at Randolph-Macon College.
"Just yesterday, a liberal pro-amnesty group held a rally and encouraged their supporters to vote in our election for our opponent because Congressman Cantor is standing up to Obama on illegal immigration," Cantors campaign said in a May 29 email to supporters.
The statement caught PolitiFacts attention because we attended the May 28 rally at the state Capitol held by Casa de Virginia, a group that supports immigration reform.

Pure sleaze bag.
The G0P is a particularly disgusting and foul head of the hydra.
Cantors campaign is bringing out more lies every day about Brat. Brat is a tea-party conservative and Cantor’s trying to slime him as a liberal prof, which he is not.
I heard Brat interviewed on Mark Levin’s show. He sounds pretty good. Cantor’s the real pro-amnesty slime ball here.
“Luis, the leadership youre providing through thick and thin right now as we try and navigate these very tough political times in choppy waters. My hat is off to you. Im very grateful.”
Wow. This guy is a real sleazy POS. We need to copy these stories and send to our reps...get their commitment to replace the majority leader before they get our vote in November. Enough is enough.
The Scriptures say that Satan was a liar from the beginning and is the father of all lies.
It appears Cantor is a lineal descendant.
the only thing little eric has left to learn from his mentor boehner is how to cry.
Any numbers on this race?
Any conservative who falls for this shameless mud-slinging ought to stay home on Election Day. Ask Dewhurst how that low-down campaigning worked for him in Texas this week. He spent twelve million, five million of his own money, and got 36% of the vote. Surely VA voters are as intelligent as Texans.
I don’t trust any of them. They’re all frauds.
Cantor = dirtbag. Time to be replaced.

Time and time again, our loyal membership contributes several times, aside from their Monthly Donations, and other loyal members send checks and donate more than once.
Someone will do it for me? What if that doesn't happen?

Evil in his eyes.
“Surely VA voters are as intelligent as Texans.”
Obviously not. Terry McAuliffe is now Governor.
Ok so now he’s like Jon lovitz’ pathological liar?
Cantor is a flat out liar.
Is this who the GOP wants as Speaker of the House?
How can any voter in his district trust what he says, when he lies with ease.
Thanks to the fake, phony fraud LINO Sarvis, who is now running for Senator.
Cantor is a disgusting pig at the trough. He will say or do anything to enlarge his ‘power’ and maintain his place at the chow table. He is a useless POS. Just goes to show what having no spine really means
