Posted on 05/31/2014 5:56:34 AM PDT by lowbridge
A Cincinnati man says that a group of black teenagers yelled at him and a group of white people Why are you white people in our neighborhood? before attacking him, in what police are investigating as a hate crime.
The attacks occurred at the three-day Taste of Cincinnati event last Sunday.
The annual event attracts over half a million visitors to the area. But it also apparently attracted violent groups of young people.
A police report obtained by The Daily Caller classifies attacks on two men, Scottie Hunter and Randy Ulses, as hate crimes.
The report says that Ulses, white, was being punched in the face by a black male and kicked by a group of black males. Hunter, who is also white, was assaulted by a group including black males and black females, according to the report.
The hate crime is classified as Anti-White on the report.
Reached by phone, Hunter confirmed that his attackers mentioned race before beating him.

Obviously, he was mistaken and it never happened like that....unless he is gay.
There are more hate crimes against whites by blacks than there are hate crimes against blacks by all the other races combined.
Its not even debatable anymore.
I don’t do very well at toning down situations like this.
“I’m as free as you are to come and go as I please. Didn’t you hear Obama?
You don’t OWN this neighborhood! You didn’t build this place!”
...of course it helps that I have more “friends” on my hip than he has on the street....
Wait a minute....I thought that every crime against Blacks by non-Blacks was a hate crime. Then there's those millions upon millions of "subtle racism" hate crimes that go on in all non-Black folks mind year in and year out.
Surely you can see that your premise is faulty.....(really needed? > /s)
Answer should have been; "We're looking for a shooting range."
Well they got a particular taste of Cincinnati that’s for sure.
With the stock removed, leaving the front and rear handgrips.
You are right, that would have probably gotten them to ggo look for a target they were sure is unarmed.
You all know what they say about an old man.
Looks like a Hi-Point tricked out carbine. I have one that I put the Beretta CX-4 stock replacement on. To the untrained eye, they look almost the same.
When asked why I was in their neighborhood, I would have said, “looking for drugs, disease and a cheap whore.”
or he should have said “I saw Gran Torino”.
many homeowners amongst that group Im SURE!!!
“Why are you white people in our neighborhood?”
were with the CITY and were doing CODE INSPECTION work....
DID YOU BUILD THIS NIEGHBORHOOD???....
Or, they could have said they work for the Jane Goodall Institute.
Do NOT remove the stock!
It may make the gun a tad more concealable, but accuracy goes to hell in the proverbial handbasket. Remember: HITS COUNT!
This goes double for shotguns.
Why use a Hipoint carbine? They are popular in Detroit for home defense but I’d rather shoot .45 ACP from a pistol.
Clearly most black people prefer segregation from a civilized society. Why does the rest of the country even bother otherwise?
What gun isn't important nor really the point, it is had they been armed they would have been unharmed.
But I gotta tell you, I do like my modified HiPoint Carbine.
gotta tell ya, the life time warranty is real, a friend, who is a Pastor who loves to shoot, he kind of put some very, very hot rounds into his and blew it up. The HiPoint rep said to him, after he explained what he did and asked how much a new barrel would cost, was told, “We warranty stupid”. and they rebuilt the gun for him for free.
Because they are a blast to shoot, reliable, accurate, and if I run outa ammo, it makes a nifty club. Or if you misplace you hammer,,.....,,,,.....,,,,,
There have been reports of these sorts of attacks, at major public events such as state fairs, and civic events such as this Cincinnati event. How the heck will these events survive, if the youth gangs show up and start causing trouble?
Any bets on a lower attendance next year at this Cincinnati event??? You know that many people are going to be scared off from going to big gatherings in the city from now on.
Never said it was a bad gun....just ‘utilitarian’ as best as I can explain it. It’s a very good poor man’s carbine.
[BTW, the pastor must have shot some 147 grain +P 9mms in it.....] I have a box of that, and there’s only one 9mm I have that I’d shoot it in.
You have to watch the barrel length AND overall length on weapons classified as RIFLES....bbl > 16” and OAL > 26” IIRC.
Otherwise you get into a situation of a Short barreled rifle or AOW and without a tax stamp on that, you’re a criminal.
The way these manufacturers get around that is that they build them classified as PISTOLS and they aren’t usually able to have a stock (folding or otherwise) added.
I have a sticker on my truck.
“45 ACP. It’s just silly to shoot twice!”
I tasted Cincinnati once.
Made me gag.
Gonna be a long summer.
Clever, but I think it would have gone right over their heads.
Move the event. Cincinnati is a big place.
They ought to get a couple of friends to "help" them: Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson. According to the Atlanta Black Star:
Is ANYONE surprised? I'm not.
[BTW, the pastor must have shot some 147 grain +P 9mms in it.....] I have a box of that, and theres only one 9mm I have that Id shoot it in."
I don't know what he was shooting, I do know he reloads his won and has been known to cut down on the size of the bullet, drill a very small hole in it and imbed the tip and first 1/2 inch of a finish nail it it. When i see him next, I will ask him.
We have been talking about it being the standard issue for members of the Militia that live in cities and towns. Kind of depends on if HiPoint can and is willing ot come up with hi cap magazines.
Good point. Maybe they just can’t have big community events downtown or anywhere near the ghetto.
Off topic, I have friends and family in the Washington DC area. There is a theme park there, Six Flags America, which gets overrun with ghetto kids. My friends, rather than go to that theme park near where they live, will go to King’s Dominion near Richmond, Virginia, or Busch Gardens, in Williamsburg, Virginia, or Hershey Park in Hershey, PA.
They intentionally drive a lot farther to go to a place which doesn’t have so many gang types there. Can’t say I blame them. I don’t care much for theme parks, but for those who do, it’s got to be a big disappointment to go to Six Flags America near Washington, and be in fear due to your fellow visitors.
Show me an AK you can get for about $230 and I’d agree with you (That’s what mine cost, IIRC) . Also, IIRC, the mags I have with mine are 10 round. And there are 15 round magazines out there for it.
Regardless, that’s why they call it the poor man’s carbine. Utilitarian and shoots reasonably well with a very common pistol round. Also has interchangeable round ejection port choice and is easily upgraded with the goodies.
In the minds of many young blacks the race wars are on going. Just look at major cities all over the country and it is very obvious, as the MSM refuses to talk about it.
Answer should have been...
“My name is George... Is your name Trayvon?”
I live in a Cincinnati suburb, and I stay in the suburbs. I refuse to go downtown. No matter what anyone says, it is not safe.
Funny.....I thought they were against segregation. I'm sure if a group of whites went to a black person and said "Why are you black people in our neighborhood", Jesse and Al would be there faster than you can say 'Trayvon Martin.'
Not sure what you'd do in this situation. I might simply reply, "Just passing through", then look to make as quick and safe an exit as possible. If that isn't possible I remove my pistol, repeat my statement, and prepare to fire if they decide not to play nice.
Is it legal to carry something like that in cincinnati?
There can only be a war when both sides are fighting.
There's a local Black radio station there that drums up hate before
any event under the guise of 1st Amend Privilege, but what they're always
calling for is a Rise of the Black Man and revenge against Whites. A constant
drum beat of woe-is-me.
That’s a good question, as while no knives other than ballistic are illegal in Ohio, they have no preemption, so Cincinnati may have its own laws. However, typically they need two criteria: first that the knife cannot be concealed, and second, that it must be dual use as a tool.
A knife forum specifically mentions several knives that are pure weapons, among which is the karambit I pictured.
So in this particular case, oddly enough, I would recommend a survival type mini-hatchet.
It is just one foot long, is in a carry holster on your hip so it is not concealed, clearly qualifies as a tool, yet could do serious hurt even on a gang of attackers. As typically both it and the holster are black, it would not be very obvious at night.
If asked about it by a police officer, it can easily be called a work tool.
You are right. Definitely do not remove the stock on a shotgun. In addition to loosing any real sense of controlled accuracy, a pistol grip like the one on the carbine in the picture delivers the full shock of the kick directly to the trigger wrist. Even with bird shot, it is painful and not sustainable beyond one or two rounds.
If you happen to have a few extras, in just about any caliber, let me know, I would love to have some, but if I go out and buy $4. a round bullets, my wife is not going to be safe to sleep with.
“Clearly most black people prefer segregation from a civilized society. Why does the rest of the country even bother otherwise?”
They do, and they had a valid question for the safari tourists: What were they doing in that neighborhood?
I’m not defending the violence, but I definitely understand the question. I’d imagine the whites involved will never put themselves in that position again...
