Raghunatha John Giuffre knows how it feels to return from the dead.

The 49-year-old Wainaku man was the third and final person stabbed during a spree that took place around midnight May 23, and the only one who reportedly knew the alleged assailant, 28-year-old Varaha Nrsngha Mims. [snip]

“He had taken a hatchet to the temple room and went after the god that dispels demons and ghosts,” Giuffre said. “We have 10 deities on our altar....

I wonder if one of those ten is Hanuman...the "god" Obama carries in his pocket for "luck"

Obama seeks Hanuman’s blessing
PTI
New York, June 09, 2008

Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic party’s presidential nominee, is seeking the blessings of Hindu god Hanuman in his battle for the White House.

The 46-year-old senator from Illinois, who defeated his rival Hillary Clinton in an epic 17-month long electoral battle for Democratic party nomination, carries a “tiny monkey god” apparently representing “Hanuman” with him for good luck.

A recent photo posted on Time’s White House Photo of the Day collection shows the first ever Black-American nominee of a major US party for the Presidential elections carries with him a bracelet belonging to an American soldier deployed in Iraq, a gambler’s lucky chit, a tiny monkey god and tiny Madonna and child.

That “tiny monkey god,” of course, appears to be a statue of the Hindu monkey god, Hanuman, says the posting but editors and the photographer has not identified it as such.

Obama, whose father was a Kenyan and mother a white woman from Kansas, spent initial days of his life in Indonesia where Hinduism is a popular religion.

Hare Krishnas??? And one of them went on a stabbing rampage? Oh and surprise surprise, he’s another mental case which obviously is the fault of the NRA once again. So let’s go back to completely ignoring the fact that we have a major problem in this country with schizophrenics running around who are not taking their medication because we don’t want to hurt their feelings by forcing them and again focus on getting guns/knives and other inanimate objects off the street.

The Hare Krishnas here in Florida had a problem a number of years ago with child abuse, child molesting and the stockpiling of weapons (although I believe it was through their connection with a Krishna center in Virginia, which was much worse and where several people were arrested and are now in jail). They have since become perfectly harmless.

However, a lot of whackjobs do get into these groups. Some of them wash out, and some of them don’t...until too late.

I thought Hare Krishnas were all “peace” & stuff. Lucky me. Haven’t seen any of those guys since the 70s.

And to think, forty years ago the Hare Krishnas were infesting the airports begging for money or trying to “sell” you one of their books for a high price.

I saw one man being hassled by some teen girl trying to sell him a book for $5.00. To get rid of her he bought one and handed her a $20.00 bill. She took the money and took off with the $20. He promptly filed a complaint as she had “ripped him off”.

ELAINE: George?

We need to convince killers to use Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals as their murder weapon of choice thereby forcing the leftists to ban its sale in America.

The sad fact is, people are needy for God. If they are raised without a practical, logical faith (I admit I am biased towards the traditional Christianity of our founding fathers) then they are subject to picking up any nonsense that floats down the pike.

One of these Hindu type religions several years ago was a scene of a mass poisoning of an entire town. Just google “Antelope bioterror” and find the worst documented recent bioterror attack in our history.

apparently the grownup offspring of the original devotees are normal ,debauched people like the rest of the material society they used to disdain . Except they have weird unpronounceable un-American names , proclivities towards drug use and rage . Oddly , the sitting Congresswoman ( one of 2) from Hawaii , Tulsi Gabbard , also hails from this nuvo-Hindu type of upbringing and background . Her parents were followers of a particular Hindu cult leader , but not the Krsna cultists . All these under currents . Who knows what’s really going on ?

the Bhagavan Shree Rajneesh cult’s attempt to consolidate political power in Antelope Oregon . That got him deported and he died in India , unrepentant , and still in possession of his 40+ Rolls Royces .

and people are stupid enough to think of this as ‘spiritual’ ?
