After enduring four years of intense political warfare over the president’s health care law, the majority of voters say they want candidates to stop talking about it and move on, a new poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation found.

Although the law remains largely unpopular among the public—45 percent have negative views of Obamacare—the majority would prefer that lawmakers fix it and then focus on other issues.

In fact, that same survey shows that most voters don’t even view Obamacare as the most important issue when considering whom to vote for this election season. Just one in 10 people said it was a key factor.

I expect they're a lot more concerned about climate change than they are about dying because they can't get a doctor to treat them.

"...that same survey shows that most voters don’t even view Obamacare as the most important issue when considering whom to vote for..."

Pure Propaganda....the uninformed who vote for anything but character and main issues for the nation are pawns for Obama and the MSM. Obamacare is non sustainable in its present form so KILL IT and start fresh in small increments. Fire the Bureaucrats who have been at the VA for over five years, de-unionize that federal business and hire fresh non-union people....JFK gave federal workers the go ahead to unionize...that is most likely unconstitutional... Informed voters understand what is going on and vote for what is best for the country.

We need to bring our substitution plan out asap. At this point, O care is the law. If you want to change, remove or alter it, you better have something else to offer besides “A warm and righteous feeling”. Same thing with the threat of ‘amnesty’. If we don’t want blanket amnesty we need to come up with comprehensive immigration changes and we need to trumpet what they are over and over and over this summer.

Most the country is not troubled with this law until it hits them square in the eye, at which point it’s too late to avoid the effects. I thought Paul Ryan would at least be good for this, what has he been doing, other than dodging tough questions?

"Define: fix it."

GOP needs to propose a healthcare amendment to the Constitution to the states. And if the states choose to ratify it, then Congress will actually have the constitutional authority that it needed to establish Obamacare Democratcare in the first place.

I believe she worked for a democrat senator, like Byron Doorgan. He articles are all about defending Obamacare and attacking Republicans and the Koch brothers.

...”the majority would prefer that lawmakers fix it and then focus on other issues...”

With this lawless administration, why would anyone believe a “fix” would be implemented? Congress needs to step up and protect the constitution. The media needs to shrug off their love affair with their Marxist idol and inform America the harms Obama is doing to our republic.

Those voters who have been badly financially hurt like me aren’t going to forget. We also aren’t likely to vote for anyone, regardless of party affiliation, who wants to “fix” Obamacare.
