A strong majority, 63 percent, of Americans now say that same-sex couples should have a legal right to adopt a child, according to a new Gallup poll. About one in three, 35 percent, are opposed.
The result is the opposite of 1992, when Gallup first polled the question. Sixty-three percent said homosexual couples should not be legally permitted to adopt in that year. In 1998, that number declined to 57 percent. In 2003 and 2007, Americans were about equally divided on the question.
The recent poll was the first time Gallup showed a clear majority supportive of giving same-sex couples the legal right to adopt a child.
The strongest support came from Democrats (80 percent), followed by independents (61 percent), then Republicans (51 percent).
Young people were more supportive than older people. Among ages 18 to 29, 77 percent answered that same-sex couples should have the right to adopt, followed by 65 percent for ages 30 to 49, 59 percent for ages 50 to 64 and 52 percent for those 65 and older.

There are talented conservatives and patriots making music, writing screenplays, trying to break into the movie biz, and so on. But we conservatives seem to think that anything artistic and creative isn't for us. "Our brains aren't wired that way", I've heard on a few occasions. Wake up, people...we gotta get "that way". Music, movies, reality TV, sports and so on are what influences Generation.com, not family, church, talk radio, or the Heritage Foundation. We have allowed the Left unchallenged access to the most power weapon ever for molding and shaping the minds of young people, and it's going to kill this Republic.

My sister-in-law has a lesbian aunt. She’s about 50 and has been with the same partner for 25 years. They’ve adopted 2 children with Downs Syndrome. They’ve given those children a rich and fulfilling life. Sorry, I can’t condemn them. The vast majority of Freepers I’m sure think those women are headed for the lake of fire. Sorry, but I just can’t believe a just god would do that.
I have never watched..but it seems others do and enjoy it but you have to realize what perverted people we have in this country now..
They want this that badly....? Let the fools have it. Do they think that the divorce industry is going to give them a pass? No. That 50+% divorce rate will apply to them, to. Look at all they’ll be getting. The ruinous attorney’s fees, trashed credit, stripping of assets and retirement accounts. Now add the horrendous expense of custody fights, court ordered custody arrangements and child support. They want all of that...let them have it. It’s not like you would be doing them any favors.
All I know is that a gay acquaintance tells me that gay porn is about 95% child porn.
Correction: A very depraved and psychotic majority.
I think this is the very worst consequence of the gay-rights push. Same-sex “marriage” is just weird; this is evil. Pure evil.
Now that homosexuality has become a normal part of our society, pedophilia has to follow, and what better way to assure that than allowing homosexual couples to adopt young children.
The great American brainwashed think tolerance of evil is a virtue, and our children will pay for this foolishness.
