A former U.S. officer who served in Afghanistan with Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl claims that soldiers were threatened by U.S. authorities if they questioned his story. After he was captured, Bergdahl said on a video from his captors that he lagged behind on patrol, although other sources in the military suggested anonymously that he walked away from his post. “Not only has this nebulous non-story been put out for years but you know these soldiers of 4th Brigade 25th Infantry Division were threatened with legal repercussions if they spoke about Bergdahl. Everybody officially mandated silencing of what we saw has been so frustrating,”

Obama, the most devastating terrorist attack to touch American soil. Will we ever find out who owns and operates this Kenyan jihadist? Whatever is going on with this Bergdahl story, it is clear the risk of not cooperating with the terrorists was greater than the backlash that is occurring.

What he said after becoming captive is a red herring. Presumably, he could have been threatened, denied water/food. “Lagged behind the patrol” is better progaganda for the Taliban. Set that all aside. => What were the circumstances that caused him to become captive?

Good guess. I suspect it will depend, in part, on how fast he is “reintegrated” into society.
Then again, maybe he’ll get fragged. Apparently a bunch of his “soldiers in arms” are mightily pissed about this. ESPECIALLY about other soldiers going KIA while searching for this scumbag.
