Although I am a California native, and was a high school student in first Brown governorship (and that was Pat not Jerry); I have not lived there now for about 10 years. So unless the law has changed in the past 10 years in that crazy state, the winner of the each of the party primaries does not win the general election, now matter how large his win. He simply becomes his party’s candidate in the general election.
