Obama knew about HR 3304 Congress reporting requirement- and planned on ignoring it.

"Statement by the President on H.R. 3304

Today I have signed into law H.R. 3304, the "National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014." I have signed this annual defense authorization legislation because it will provide pay and bonuses for our service members, enhance counterterrorism initiatives abroad, build the security capacity of key partners, and expand efforts to prevent sexual assault and strengthen protections for victims.

Since taking office, I have repeatedly called upon the Congress to work with my Administration to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The continued operation of the facility weakens our national security by draining resources, damaging our relationships with key allies and partners, and emboldening violent extremists.

For the past several years, the Congress has enacted unwarranted and burdensome restrictions that have impeded my ability to transfer detainees from Guantanamo. Earlier this year I again called upon the Congress to lift these restrictions and, in this bill, the Congress has taken a positive step in that direction. Section 1035 of this Act gives the Administration additional flexibility to transfer detainees abroad by easing rigid restrictions that have hindered negotiations with foreign countries and interfered with executive branch determinations about how and where to transfer detainees. Section 1035 does not, however, eliminate all of the unwarranted limitations on foreign transfers and, in certain circumstances, would violate constitutional separation of powers principles. ........"

Obama was planning on ignoring this law, knowing that it put the reporting responsibility on Hagel at DOD. Cute and a useful ostensible Republican (rino) to disperse blame, as he always has. "I didn't do it" the prez sez. Hagel is beginning to be blamed in the press for his statements about the transfer, onboard a military plane during the transfer operation, and NOT having reported it to Congress. This is again the chi-town way-- deflect, dissuade. Problem is, the WH didn't count on platoon mates characterizing Bergdahl as a deserter suitable for Leavenworth under UCMJ. The present_dent isn't going to explain a thing-- leaving it up to Hagel to explain how 5 high profile Taliban leaders will be "mitigated" from returning to Afghanistan (drug dealers all) and the "new" drug dealing tribe that will run the country. The whole thing is about opium/heroin- the major export product of Afghanistan, aside from lifetime mujahideen fighters as a career.

The GOPe is consulting their thesaurus for the strong words that will be included in their letter.

Congress the young MacFly dad will just giggle while his binder gets the hallway slap-down from the rowdy jocks —he thinks as long as he permits himself to be punched in the shoulder enough times he’ll get to sit at The Cool Kid Table.

Say:

WHY do we have a Congress..?

It appears Obama has been wondering that for six years, now, and has been acting that way.

Truly it is up to the GOP to hold him accountable for his lawlessness if they won’t do it and the media is complicit in it than he is free to be as corrupt and totalitarian as he pleases.

Big whoop! Obama broke another law! Do we honestly think that the Congress will do anything to prosecute him?

The situation is just sad. A skilled politician and practiced leader would be able to get what he wants from Congress. It’s called the art of negotiation. Most politicians live for this inside game. Obama can’t stand people...and that goes for the people on the political left, too. He’s convinced of his greatnes and if he thinks it, it must be so.

The truth is, if Obama were a better politician the House of Reps would still be in Dems hands. By going so far left with Obamacare, he riled up the political right and got them elected. The irony of his presidency is that the GOP House, which Obama bitches about daily, was created by him and him alone. I wonder if he even grasps what I just wrote? A more subtle and talented politicain would have got just a bit of what he wanted without whipping up his political enemies. Obama knows no such tact and “Wa-la” the political right is now crawling up his a—.

But, I digress. Obama refuses to negotiate with his creation (the House GOP), so now he must ignore the constitution to get his way.....and that he will. It’s sad. It’s illegal. It’s also a reflection on our media who just can’t seem to pry their lips off his rear end in order to get a good look at this so called leader. If a GOP president ever sayd, “Congress won’t act on Capital Gains taxes, so I will. I’ll again be sad, but I’ll also enjoy watching the media and the political left all of sudden get religion on the issue of enumerated powers.

Bottom Line: Obama is not a good man. He’s not a good leader. He’s in way over his head. Most of al, he’s just an angry man....in charge of a country he despises.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Susan Rice is Hagel’s replacement as SecDef.

Par for the course with this crowd, besides, Obama owes her.

The ones screaming about him breaking the law are just as responsible for him breaking the law. Dems and Repubs alike. They refuse to bring charges against him, so he keeps doing it. Gives them the finger. It’s Congress’s fault as much as Huseein’s.

After reading about this last night and this morning and hearing the radio shows today and reading more, it seems like we should be taking it to the street with a protest of some sort.

The Congress will let it slide and Obama certainly won’t be impeached.

But, the people can rise up in anger.

I’ve written my democrat congresscriters and senator, as if they care what I think.

Anyone know of protest scheduled?

Good question - America should be marching on the Capitol.
