Yep.
To think that a heavy cruiser that survived the Pearl Harbor attack & WWII, and served more than thirty years in the Argentine navy, got deep-sixed in less than ten minutes after being torpedoed by a British sub. That was more than three decades ago.
Maybe the Argie supertugs will carry depth charges. /s
Hopefully they don’t get Sheffield’d back
[headscratch]
I’m pretty sure the drilling that already took place in that region last year came up empty of any commercial amounts. There may be nothing there. In fact, there is probably nothing there.
Are they itching for war, because even in its weakened state, I still bed that the British and kick their butt, HARD.
She was formerly the USS Phoenix, launched in 1938.

And our head Marxist would side with...?
It depends. Obama does not have a good geographic sense, and once confused the Malvinas (Argentinian name for the Falklands) with the Maldives. The later is in the Indian Ocean, and is an islamic country which punishes practice of any other religion, including even Buddhism, which their own ancestors practiced. Most of the non-Islamic art work in the national museum has been destroyed. The Maldives have an average elevation of only 1.5 m above sea level, which is one of the best arguments in favor of global climate change and consequent rise in sea level, which would clean up the place nicely.
Anyway, Argentina has no valid claim to the Falklands. They also have no nuclear weapons, so they should not mess with whatever is left of the UK.
Soros has business interests there - and Obama 3 or 4 years ago pulled oil rigs out of our Gulf waters so they could be sent to that region.
If UK does anything I expect Barry to get all stompy feet at them
Okay.
When will we give them refuge in the USA and place them all on welfare. That's the least we can do to pay for our climate change crimes, eh?
I've never seen the replays of this, but apparently none of the camera angles caught the hand-ball.
Let's see what Messi can do this year. I am going to Manaus to see a game in a few weeks. First time ever. Once in a lifetime!
I really wish the author of the article had a clue about spelling, punctuation and English grammar. Reading this article was painful.
“Hopefully they dont get Sheffieldd back”
Yes, the Sheffield was lost. But you gotta’ admire those guys.
“After the ship was struck and her crew waiting to be rescued, Sub Lieutenant Carrington-Wood led the crew in singing “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” from Monty Pythons Life of Brian.”
And that goes... for my Boys, too!!!!!
Still hot any left? I’d buy one.
Well, you have my permission to use the design... and have CustomInk (http://www.customink.com/) make one up for yourself—
Or send me $300 in cash... and I'll have--
my cleaning... lady weave one out for ya in her free time.
Sleek chassis!
Uhh...for $300, I’ll take the cleaning lady...:)
