It’s because they’re BLACK, right?

Maybe if we paint them rainbow colors, they’d be happier???

No more Walmarts within 25 miles of the ghetto = no more problems like this.

Yeah that AR15 in 22lr has the same “assault” effectiveness as a Ruger 10-22. Which is every 10 year old shooter’s first plinking gun.
They inflict terrible damage to water balloons.

Thats all it is.
I wouldn’t think that a 22lr would have enough gas to function in an AR15 platform. It barely has enough recoil to work a blowback design.

Of course, they look mean because they are all black and have tactical furniture on them.

That's why I left the wood on my WASR. So it wouldn't scare the hell out of me every time I open the cabinet.

A month or two ago, I saw a COLT LE6920 variant for sale at a Walmart near me. It was almost $1800.....

I’ve seen a full 5.56 AR-15 operate with a 22LR kit.

It wasn’t 100% reliable, but it worked.

Oddly enough, while there are plenty of Wals that do carry firearms, there was one near where we lived in FL that did not carry them due to, uh, being in a “high risk” area. Near an amish enclave or something. Don’t know of any in the Reno area that don’t carry firearms. Longs only of course. No hand guns. Even more odd, when I was living in MS, I bought a nice Dan Wesson .357 at our local TG&Y. Long time ago and far, far away. :>}

I switched the wood off my pump action Mossberg 500 to all black tactical kit including folding stock, pistol grip, foregrip with picateeny rails with a flashlight mounted.

Woohooo... scares me every time I open the case.

Its basically still an entry level $400 shotgun but looks badass.

Its like a bone stock honda civic with ground kit, spoiler, and a giant tachometer on the dash with a shift light. (even though its auto trans)
Oh... a fartpipe muffler too.

Assault Weapon? Just call it an “automatic weapon” and get it over with!
