Perfect is a LONG way from selling the working class out with amnesty. Being for amnesty is clue one they have sold out to big money. Exactly how democrats have painted republicans for years, in these cases it’s true. Leadership and ranking republicans drinking scotch and doing the bidding of the rich masters. No more.
Sorry. No connection between the two. Now if you said Bush III (Jeb) I would have agreed.
Yeah, well I’m considering voting against you, Marco Schumer Rubio.
“If you disagree with him on immigration (and hes not in favor of what you call amnesty) go ahead, but look at the other things he has said. This election is not going to be won on whether or not people hate Mexicans.”
amnesty is a stopper for me, and for a whole lot of other people.
Rubio wants to run as a stealth candidate without disclosing what he would do as President.
There is plenty of connection between Romney and the word “Idiot”. Generations of connections. Obamacare connections, gay connections...lots.
But yea, Jeb is one for the list as well.
Rubio could be ok.
And yes, I do disagree with him on his stand on immigration-that-is-not-amnesty because the rule of law has to mean something. I would have the same issues with Canadians if they over-stayed their visas and bypassed checkpoints in the millions.
I agree with your sentiment, although it’s less his stance on immigration than his awful performance during that period. He turned in to EVERYTHING he ran against on that issue. It wasn’t simply a moderated view on immigration (which he always had). It’s that he went all-in on a Democrat version, and really performed terribly in defense. First, he voted down all GOP changes to improve it. Secondly, he sounded horrible when trying to sell it. Third, he joined the ‘DC think’ of ‘we must rush this through right now’ syndrome that he specifically ran against.
I am not by any means going to ignore all the good aspects of Rubio’s view points, and normally he is one the best at articulating conservatism. I am way down on him running in 2016...he needs more seasoning and experience and needs to prove he has IT and can take on the left and shrink when the spotlight is on.
Compared to the rest of the democrats, Rubio is not terrible. He's just nowhere near what we need to restore freedom and the rule of law.
I’ll never, ever forget those lie-filled, Zuckerberg-funded, pro-amnesty commercials of Rubio’s that flooded the airwaves. Embodied the kind of backstabbing betrayal I associate with loathesome hack politicians. Total, abject sell-out.
Have absolutely ZERO trust in Rubio because of this, and he’ll never get my vote under any circumstances.
“... help Republicans gain control of the U.S. Senate, either in the midterm elections or in 2016...”
Rubio, you better be doing all you can to help in these midterms! Forget 2016 get it done now!
I’m considering laughing.
Rubio doesn’t stand a chance, which means the GOP-e will LOOOOVVVVVEEEE him as a candidate.
they call the capital of Mexico the white House too?
Don’t disagree about Romney either.
Rubio is another story. He is a good conservative.
President Hillary?
I’m not saying Rubio is my guy, but he’d be better than Obama 3.0.
I have no idea who the nominee could/should be. But letting a Democrat make judicial appointments and continue down Obama’s path is a terrible idea.
As to whether it is easier to depose the Republican elite when there is a Republican president, or when there is a Democratic president, I think neither is easy. So we might as well not have another Democrat.
Stay home Mr. R, I just can’t vote for you, I won’t vote for you. Thanks but NO THANKS
Don’t bother. You do not have what it takes.
