Is Bowe Bergdahl the Democratic Party's poster boy for the ideal soldier? They have declared his service as honorable and he served with distinction. I guess mailing all your personal possession home, stacking up your uniforms, weapons, gear etc. and walking out the gate in the middle of the night with a knife, water bottle and compass qualifies for the Democratic Party. At best anyone who did this would have to have been suicidal even if it was just for a short stroll and based upon the reported letter he left he intended to desert.
Then there is the note he supposedly left. If it has been accurately reported it reflects the views of the majority of the Democratic Party so that has to be honorable and a mark of distinction.
If you don't think he represents the Democratic Party primary view of those that are in the military go back and look at their comments not only members of Congress and the party officials, but lots of the rank and file. John Kerry in the Winter Soldier hearings expressed the parties feeling and he restated his feelings about our military when he said: You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq."
As a side comment I keep hearing that we left 4 people in Benghazi to die. We didn't leave 4 we left the entire staff of both facilities to die. 4 died the others got out on their own with no help from the administration. The death toll could have been a lot higher. HTC and Obama left them all to die.

It makes me nervous that he might be a Republican. He is from Idaho, hard working family in the country, and likes to hunt and fish and live outdoors. I pray he is not a Republican. Typically I would welcome any military person to be a Republican but not this guy.
Apparently he is their ideal soldier. Can you imagine our soldiers were like this during World War II?

They are California transplants, not Idahoans. Also Hailey, Idaho and Sun Valley are full of liberal Hollywood types, getting away from Ca. I’d bet money his dad is a liberal trust fund baby who THINKS he’s a real hunter/fisherman/outdoorsman.

Anyone criticizing this Obama darling is Swiftboating him according to the administration. Essentially the troops are lying. The Obomabots in the media will pick this up. Watch them give proctological exam to anyone in the military who is causing Obama a problem. Those media types who join in needed to be slapped down hard.
This (sadly) doesn’t surprise me at all & I wouldn’t take the bet. I can’t look at pictures of Bergdahl anymore. He smirks.
