(CNSNews.com) – Amid reports that Qatar will allow five senior Taliban terrorists freed from Guantanamo Bay in the controversial Bergdahl exchange to move around freely, a State Department spokeswoman on Tuesday repeatedly declined to discuss “specifics” of the agreement struck with Qatar.

Marie Harf said the deal involved “very sensitive diplomatic negotiations” involving the Gulf state and there were “probably very good reasons” not to make the details public.

Well, that was one of those proverbial 'Sherlock moments', wasn't it?

Translation: The American people must remain ignorant of how badly they are being betrayed.

When the Taliban is more honest than the US
Gov’t to the American People, and when
the US Gov’t DECLARES it can only be truthful
and open to the Taliban, then American has
been betrayed.

Huma, please pick up the green telephone.

Correspondent on Fox News last night said if the deal was good the details would have been released by now.

There were “probably very good reasons” not to make the details public.
Of course they don’t want things public. If they were public too many would know they screwed the pooch. As usual.

Per links above, Qatar helped Syrian rebels get weapons.

Per benghazi-gate, weapons came from..... Libya and went to Syria.

This connects Benghazi and the swap.

Because the American people would be outraged by what they did.

That’s primary.

“Obviously, we’re not going to get into the specifics of the agreement,” Harf said. “But this is an agreement between the head of the government of Qatar [Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani] and the president of the United States, a very high-level agreement about working to mitigate the notion that these five guys will be able to return to the battlefield.”

Bowe Bergdahl’s platoon mates say officers made them sign non-disclosure agreement after he ‘deserted his post in Afghanistan’

NDA letters are usually signed by soldiers who have security clearance or are working on sensitive missions.
The standard form is called SF312 and is known as a Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement and it prevents those who sign it from speaking about a specific event because it is in the interest of national security for them not to do so.

“According to trusted sources that have contacted my office, many if not all of the survivors of the Benghazi attacks along with others at the Department of Defense, the CIA have been asked or directed to sign additional non-disclosure agreements about their involvement in the Benghazi attacks. Some of these new NDAs, as they call them, I have been told were signed as recently as this summer.”

Qatar has lots of natural gas that it wants to sell to Europe. The pipelines necessary pass through major Syrian cities. Deposing Assad and seizing control of those cities is critical to the pipeline and economic future of Qatar.

This is the same thing they're trying to push about Benghai - that it was all hush-hush in the name of national security. I'm sure that was how it was sold to the military - and to Romney - but I have doubts...
