Reuters reporter Mark Felsenthal reports that Sgt. Bergdahl's hometown in Idaho is cancelling its planned celebration. "Bergdahl's home town in Idaho has canceled plans for a celebration, city administrator says," reports Felsenthal on Twitter.

I guess the people in his hometown don’t want to honor a deserter. There is a major untold story with this guy, as to why he was being held, or voluntarily stayed with, the Taliban.
They should move the welcome home party to Levenworth, Kansas.

Good, there is plenty out there now that shows this guy was no hero.
Sucks for the town that the whole left culture tried to spin him as a hero, but they don’t have the grip on America they once had and the truth has gotten past them. I hope this is a trend and the whole liberal progressive 100-year experiment is coming to an end in America.

Oh, they wanted to honor him alright. The problem they had was that the public was watching, and didn't approve. The heat got to them.
