I’m not being smug. I disagree with the notion that there is any chance whatsoever for an impeachment to go forward. Our Congress is populated with cowards and collaborators. Our media has a stranglehold on “facts.”

Impeachment won’t happen with Harry Reid running the Senate.

Impeachment is conducted in the House. Whereupon if he is impeached he must be TRIED in the Senate to be removed. And no, that won't happen.

“Impeachment won’t happen with Harry Reid running the Senate”

You musta flunked civics class.

Senate has zero to do with impeachment.

Only the House impeaches.

“I also vote aye but I will not put my name on a petition. I do not want to see the bootjack thugs come pounding on my door”

You would not have made it in 1776 friend.

Those guys had it a lot harder than that.

“I know that, what’s your point? “

you better settle down unless you wish a heart attack.

You sound like Hillary saying “At this point, what difference does it make?”

Makes a big diff.

There was a huge diff when the only elected President in history was impeached.

The House introduced articles of impeachment and during the ensuing proceedings aired all Clinton’s dirty laundry, something the MSM could not cover as they do not edit CSPAN.

Impeachment will do the same for Obama and he will be neutered, just like Clinton was.

One must go thru the process.

To: chuckles; All

I give all this till next week (early) before another controversy (scandal) erupts into the MSM and FoxNews to cover...

This will drift away like a wisp of vapor...

It IS what both political sides of this want...

Welcome to the next year and a half till about 20 January, 2017 at 12pm...

That’s if we are allowed to have an election...

Nothing is set in stone with all this nonsense going on...

It will not take much to upset the apple cart, and give the government and administration all the excuse it needs to put a hold on all methods of civil change...

Y’all have a nice day...;-)

All of Clinton's "laundry" was displayed and we even had film of Clinton lying under oath and everyone agreed it was perjury. The RINO's in the Senate still refused to impeach.

That's the point I'm trying to make.

How many Dems would vote to impeach under Harry Reid? We would need EVERY Repub, and I know there would be too many that don't have the stomach to be called "racist", even if we find out his BC was forged and he took a dead man's SS number. If we wait till the Repubs take the Senate, we still need to get some Dems, as it takes 67 votes to do the deal. Make a list of the Dems that would convict and then look at the RINO's that have NO backbone. Impeachment is a pipe dream. Anyone can be impeached, conviction is the trick.

Originally you wrote: “Impeachment won’t happen with Harry Reid running the Senate.”

That is factually incorrect. Harry Reid has no role to play, none at all, when it comes to impeachment.

I pointed that out and apparently hit a nerve. I get it, you were embarrassed.

If your statement “I know that” is true, then it is clear you were very confused when you posted something so fundamentally wrong.

“what’s your point?”

Making sure people (you) know the House impeaches and the Senate removes.

“The same result will happen with Obama that happened with Clinton. “

Irrelevant. Both chambers have their own constitutional duties. Besides, using your logic, why bother having the House prepare a budget, after all, the Senate will not take it up for a vote.

Have a nice day. Buh-buy.

Oh, and one last point: “How many Dems would vote to impeach under Harry Reid?”

Again, Harry and the Senate has nothing to do with impeachment.

Nothing at all.

But you already knew that. . .

Buh-buy.

Maybe you are right. but in 1776 they did not have the Internet nor the ability to separately identify individuals.
The ‘revolutionaries’ had an active and established leadership which I would have been(then and now) an active follower. I recognize my personal shortcoming including a limited ability to lead anything. With good leadership today. . . well, we all must be careful. My concern is being single out of a loose coalition, without backup, and made an example of.

Tilting at windmills.

In political reality, yes.

But some of the appeal of Colonel West is that he has a pair, and he doesn't hesitate to call a spade a f'n shovel.

And legally of course, he's exactly right, as usual. I hope the testicularly challenged GOPe scum who gerrymandered him out take a nice refreshing swim with some Florida 'gators.

If only he were our first black president ! I'd love to have a man I could respect and follow instead of a half white commie queer.

I say just the opposite. It had to be a lot easier for a military force to knock on doors and you would be standing by yourself.

Now one has awesome communications wherein the word spreads very quickly, seconds and minutes, not days of traveling.

You have more support than you suspect.

We will need it when Obama sends his military forces to knock of the doors of honest Americans who decide not to agree with his arrogant usage of power we did not give him.

I don't know what's up your a$$, but tell me how you would get 2/3 of the Senate to vote to remove Obama with the Dems in control. The House could impeach 14 times and the Senate would NEVER VOTE TO REMOVE!! I don't understand what's so hard about that! If we take the Senate in 2015, maybe, just maybe, we could get it done, but 2/3 is still a big number. There are a few Dems worried about their seat right now, but even if we take 10 seats in 2015, we are still short. At some point, you will still need Feinstein type Dems. Ain't gonna happen. Give me the names of some Dems that would remove the president.

Buh-buy.

Goodness. Nice use of a profanity. Such an adult response. Expect nothing better from you. “chuckles” indeed.

Never said dingy harry and his ilk would remove but you keep saying dingy harry won’t allow impeachment. . .and you are reminded that impeachment takes place in the House, not Senate as you constantly rant.

Apparently you are deeply embarrassed and trying to dissemble and obfuscate my point that shows you are wrong about impeachment.

You say you know that impeachment takes place in the House but at the same time constantly say dingy harry (he’s the Senate majority leader, that means he runs the Senate) won’t allow impeachment. You even posted that allegation even after you were reminded several times that the Senate plays no role in impeachment.

But then again, if you wish to say over and over again that dingy harry won’t allow impeachment, hey, have at it as you have been called out many times by a few people that you are wrong. Keep digging that hole.

We have nothing else to say. So here’s your choice:

1) Reply because you have an overwhelming, compelling, visceral juvenile need to have the last word, or. . .
2) Let it go as we have said our piece and will let adults figure out who is right.

Your call, and whatever course you choose defines your character.

I just checked his bio page and he joined in 2008. I figger he’s a troll from the Obama camp. He can’t tell me how the Senate would ever vote to remove Obama with Dirty Harry at the helm so he just spews some crap I can’t even follow what he’s saying. I at least have read the Constitution and know what it takes to impeach the president and witnessed it under Clinton. He’s probably a 20 something that was crapping his diaper when Monica was pulling up her skivvy’s. This thread was about impeaching Obama wasn’t it?
