The State Department last week had to apologize for singing the praises of the creep — Sheik Abdallah Bin Bayyah — in a Tweeted message promoting his Muslim Brotherhood organization. But officials there are only sorry they got caught.
The same bunch last year issued a visa for the radical cleric so he could visit, of all places, the White House.
That's right, the administration knew full well Bin Bayyah authorized the murder of U.S. soldiers in Iraq in a 2004 religious order, yet rolled out the red carpet for him anyway.
There's even a photo of him sitting at a White House table advising officials on Mideast policy.
At this June 2003 "security summit," as it was described, Bin Bayyah shockingly was allowed to rub elbows with top White House security aides. The photo shows the Islamist fanatic holding court over most of Obama's National Security Council staff.
He reportedly urged them to back the al-Qaida-led jihadists in Syria. Just days after his visit, the White House announced a surprise plan to arm the Syrian "rebels."
Bin Bayyah, who teaches Islamic law in Saudi Arabia, is a leader in the International Union of Muslim Scholars, a Muslim Brotherhood front.
His organization has given its blessing to suicide bombing campaigns in Israel and Iraq, arguing "the other side has bombs, but we have child bombs."

Since 9-11, The leftist philosophy has been to “understand” the terrorists, then they will stop hating us. What they mean is we need to understand them in a way that is not true. Perception is reality.
