Ive always said that theres a Biblical root and a tradition in this country that says we dont hold children liable for their parents acts and when you have kids who may have been brought here lets say at 2 months old unbeknownst to them and theyve been here all their lives and they want to serve in our military, my position has been I agree with that principle, he said.” This is a very powerful political argument that I bet that if it was phrased that way in polls: 90% agree /10% disagree.
Issues like this will have little effect on this years election but when the next GOP candidate goes up against Hillary (or whoever) in 2016 and she calls for amnesty, its going to get real ugly.

The parents of the dream stealers should be held accountable not the innocent American parents of children who also dream.
Note that Cantor does not quote any Scripture that I read.

Even I feel for their plight in my cold dark heart. It’s not their fault, that’s true.
But their parents crimes can’t be rewarded or it just encourages more crime.
It will be ugly, I agree.
