And he is part and parcel of those who really want it.

On Rush this week, he sounded like he wanted to get out of the US. But he’s already left England and Canada - where does he think he can go in the west where the citizens will stand up for their country? I love Steyn but he needs to stay put and help us out.

Australia sounds pretty good about now, but they’re pretty picky about who they let in.

Steyn, of course, would be an asset to any country. But Australia’s pretty politically-correct and also has an Islam problem if those stories of women being attacked on their beaches is anything to go by.

No way—like others said, he wanted it. Now he gets to eat it. Useful idiot!

Noam Chomsky is one of those rare individuals whose enlistment in a cause or opinion brings discredit to it.

My thoughts exactly. How detached from reality is Chomsky to write this piece from a victim’s mentality when he played a huge part in bringing us to this point? As if pointing it out absolves him from having participated.....

Libs, Dems and Rads always do this. Pretty soon he’ll be blaming American conservatives for destroying our great nation.

The surveillance state in place today originated from inside the post 9-11 Bush administration and I'm fairly certain Norm Chomsky wasn't advising them about it.

Just my opinion, but this is exactly why they’re in for a shellacking in November. Citizens are rightfully fearful and they don’t like being afraid.

Ah.. here it is.

Obama has a series of distinguished predecessors . . . in 1981, the Reagan administration was launching its war on terror - which quickly became a murderous and brutal terrorist war, primarily in Central America, but extending well beyond to southern Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

From that day forward, in order to carry out violence and subversion abroad, or repression and violation of fundamental rights at home, state power has regularly sought to create the misimpression that it is terrorists that we are fighting, though there are other options: drug lords, mad mullahs seeking nuclear weapons, and other ogres said to be seeking to attack and destroy us.

Eariler in the article

Recently The New York Times reported the "anguish" of a federal judge who had to decide whether to allow the force-feeding of a Syrian prisoner who is on a hunger strike to protest his imprisonment.

No "anguish" was expressed over the fact that he has been held without trial for 12 years in Guantanamo, one of many victims of the leader of the Free World, who claims the right to hold prisoners without charges and to subject them to torture.

This is what the aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats and their ideological issue say is proof of a four-digit IQ. It's America's fault even when one of them is in power.

Not really. He is more of an idiot savant who is now confused about the connection between what is happening and his general leftist views. He reminds me of the old Bolsheviks who were shocked when they were purged.

Reagan didn't "launch" a "war on terror", he only responded to the "murderous and brutal terrorist war" the commies had started in Nicaragua and El Salvador, courtesy of their Soviet overlords.

The ones Carter and the Chomskytes ignored or supported...
