President Obama, facing rising bipartisan criticism over his handling of the Taliban-for-Bergdahl prisoner swap, dug in his heels Thursday and declared he would make "absolutely no apologies" for bringing an American soldier home -- as his administration stepped up its defense of the controversial deal.
The president fielded a question on the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl controversy during a press conference on Thursday in Brussels, Belgium, alongside British Prime Minister David Cameron. Amid signals that the administration plans to aggressively challenge critics of the deal, the president brushed off the pushback as business as usual in Washington.
"I'm never surprised by controversies that are whipped up in Washington. That's par for the course," Obama said.
He reiterated that he was adhering to a principle that America does not leave soldiers behind.
"We had a prisoner of war whose health had deteriorated and we were deeply concerned about -- and we saw an opportunity and we seized it," he said. "And I make no apologies for that."

There is an ontological problem with that because repentance is always completed in the future. What would you expect out of Obama now, send Bowe back to the Taliban?

Why would he apologize? He’s gotten away with everything else, why not treason? The Democrats and the press will continue to carry his water.
Obama will just continue to do his father’s (Satan’s) bidding. Laugh if you want to, but nothing else can explain how he continues to get away with all these things.
But Ambassadors are a whole other matter.
Ill winds blew and he sided with the Muslims.
He kept the Promise.
Please, just keep Benghazi and the VA out of this and off the front page.

Benghazi involves actual illegal weapons transfers to terrorists.
The VA story means that Democratic voters are angry. Both together mean enough for an impeachment hearing. We need Dems to vote to impeach and to do that we need Democratic voters outraged. They’re ready, we need to get them there.
Don’t let Benghazi or the VA out of the news.
Now that's an interesting question. When Saul, the man in the Bible closest to the ruling style of Obama (with the possible exception of Ahab), apologized to David, David accepted the apology, but David didn't trust Saul enough to come out of the wilderness and back to the palace, because Saul did not present, as the later JtheB put it in Luke 3, fruit worthy of repentance. By the same token, if Obama sincerely apologized and asked forgiveness, he should receive it, as our Lord commands; but to gain trust, he would have to begin to present fruit worthy of repentance. That would require essentially a 180 degree turn for the whole administration, just as it would have with Saul's reign, and that kind of repentance is rare.
But you have changed the focus to trust now. That is not where it was. That was upon the apology being genuine. You cannot change your criteria: that is special pleading.
How about the vets make some news? There are VA facilities coast to coast.

Bottom line: I don’t want Obama’s apology, because I wouldn’t believe it and wouldn’t trust it. But everyone is capable of repentance, and if we don’t accept that possibility, we are disagreeing with our Lord.
Senior citizens who happen to be Democrats need to be hooked into this issue. They’ll turn on Obama fast.
And some folks can really get hyper judgmental too, bud.
If Barack showed enough humanity to even care to confess (however unfathomably) that would be an improvement. Self righteous folks who won’t even confess anything, SUCK.
Worse than narcissistic, Obama’s behavior is sociopathic.
Rules don’t apply to sociopaths. Self aggrandizement is all that matters.
Sociopathic fascist, plain and simple.
Without the slightest hint of irony.
