There was one constant for Obama throughout this process, and it wasn’t Bowe Bergdahl’s freedom. It was the freedom of five of the most deadly Taliban terrorists. Obama couldn’t solve a problem like Guantanamo without first dealing with its most notorious and dangerous residents.
The president couldn’t just free the terrorists, though; he needed a sympathetic reason. Enter Bowe Bergdahl. The White House couldn’t just come out and say Bergdahl was a deserter, otherwise people might focus on the true cost of the deal rather than its stated benefit. Obama couldn’t just inform Congress and set a precedent for disclosure, because releasing the highest risk detainees without informing Congress would make it far easier to release terrorist middle-men without informing Congress down the road. And now that it’s in this deep, the White House is clearly incapable of simply coming clean, hence the not-so-new strategy of just demonizing its opponents.
It was never about Bowe Bergdahl. It was always about Gitmo. The question now is whether Congress is going to do anything about it.

Hi Congresswoman Delbene. Just wanted to say how strongly we oppose the release any more terrorists form Guantanamo. These killers are dedicated to kill Americans and our soldiers will die if the President releases them.
Or other Americans may be captured. Already one news report says that the elated Taliban members intend to capture more hostages.
We are shocked that the President broke congressional mandates against the release, did so in secret, did not tell the truth about Bergdahl’s health or his disgraced record. Then blamed it on a secret video supposedly showing he was in poor health. But, there is no such evidence. He did appear on the very of death when he was shown released.
Some reports say that he deserted, joined the Taliban, converted to radical Islam and helped the enemy kill American soldiers. Another report says that 6 men were killed just looking for him.
We are flabbergasted by the release of American’s enemies and afraid for future harm.
Please oppose any more releases.

Are they worried about a backlash of anger from the Afghan citizens themselves ?
Are they worried that this terrorist release might make them all capture targets ?
Are they worried that the current insurgents might be emboldened by the release of their former leaders ?
Are they worried that these terrorist might sneak back into Afghanistan to start attacking them soon ?
And most importantly, is their commander worried about his golf score tomorrow ?

This sounds totally plausible, except I don’t think it was about Gitmo as much as it is about hurting the Western World and America every chance he gets.
Yeah my spidey senses tell me Congress isn’t going to do anything. They are too afraid of being called Racist and that usual BS to do anything..what Obama has done since the beginning with scandal after scandal would be Impeachable for any other President, but Obama has already proven he can get away with murder..everything else is just dandy to him
