Posted on 06/06/2014 10:08:44 AM PDT by chessplayer
While this weeks coverage of the Obama administrations exchange of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five senior Taliban officials has been generally critical, the broadcast networks have helped Team Obama out on another front since Monday, coverage of the Veterans Affairs waiting list scandal has been virtually nonexistent.
Despite the continuously unfolding developments on the scandal, the major news networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC devoted barely two minutes this week to the story.
That was so like a week ago!
Let’s face it. Most journalists despise the military anyway. Except for the homosexuals.
They can’t be shamed into investigative journalism!
I bet Obama has a buttload of these things ready to change the news, whenever things get too hot.
“They cant be shamed into investigative journalism!”
As the Fast and Furious revelations showed us, the TV Execs “don’t want the hassle” of having the fascist Obamunists coming down on them and their families.
The examples of that are already out there are many.
I keep waiting for them to recycle Malaysian Air from the depths.
It is up to the very poorly messaging capability of the GOP in the upcoming elections to shout it from the roof tops in 30 & 60 second sound bites. Otherwise the gullible and uniformed voters will remain in the dark, as usual, as the Dems count on year after year and election cycle after another.
We need somebody, either in 2014 or 2016 or both . . . to place some well time 30 minute infomercials informing them. ala Ross Perot style. Or something. Cuz what we’ve been doing is NOT working.
Look, there’s NSA spying on journalists ...whack!
No, wait, Benghazi lying and incompetence...whack!
Quick, over there... the VA screwing veterans...whack!
The Trade of the Century ... whack!
Time to stop playing this game. IMPEACH the sob!
Don’t worry. Wait until the hearings start.
Like most veterans I’m not exactly an activist. Well, except maybe around here. But I would definitely participate in a huge veterans’ march on DC, if only someone would organize it. The groups like the American Legion, VFW, VVOA, DAV, etc. have the contacts and the capability. Why haven’t they done something? There are multiple generations of vets. We could swamp Washington .
