It’s DESIGNED to be the end of America.
It’s the frickin’ coup de grâce.
I also think we need vouchers/charter schools so parents have choice.
But in the end you need a quantitative way to evaluate the output of the different schools. While there are parts of common core that may need tweaking the idea of a national standard in education and measuring against it seems prudent.
To many parents thing johnny is doing good because he’s passing each year gettings b’s when he is in fact unable to pass anything in another better school and they don’t know it.
Even GWB understood this need.
The old math got us to the moon and built the internet. The new math makes it necessary for the cash register at McDonald’s to make change because those behind the counter can’t.
They think they dumped it.
How will they go to every school and into every classroom and make sure the teachers aren’t using it?
this common core crap sure seems like socialism to me.
Dumb down everyone so as the lessers can stay up?
All I ask of the public school system is that they produce 17-18 year olds that can just read, write, and count. Is that so hard?
