Like today I was doing a “D-Day” search for TV specials and of the only 3 listed, one was about “African Americans” and D-Day
Good grief
I can’t remember, until this time in our lives, that any Negroes were in the D-Day assault formations.
Now many served with distinction with the support elements like the Red Ball Express, etc. later on.
The American assault on Normandy was WHITE.
Don’t anyone forget it.
