Comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition at a New Brunswick hospital following an early morning accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to the New Jersey State Police.
State police say the actor/comedian was injured in a crash involving six vehicles that left at least one person dead and several others, including Morgan, with serious injuries.

Nevertheless, I hope this young man recovers and becomes aware of God's provision for his soul. I have seen him before..he CAN be funny in the right context, and does have talent.
Dang. His “No No No...Hell No....” gif has become a staple around here.
Some may call this Karma and comeuppance after his ugly remarks on Sarah Palin.
Same story was told about the Seinfeld actor who played Neuman. Was a hoax.
Never heard of the guy. L hope he recovers.
Not sure this one is a hoax.
Maybe it is. If it is, it fooled the radio news.
Widely reported on cable channels with video and LEO interviews. Not just some Twitter story.
>>Same story was told about the Seinfeld actor who played Neuman. Was a hoax.<<
I think people knew who the guy from Seinfeld was...
I’ve said it a million times...nothing good *ever* happens at 1 AM.
And who is this person? Since from comments here yet another member of the lib-media.... who gives a rat’s a@@ (aside from
“say a prayer for them” another road tragedy that happens all over the place usually to much nicer people)?
Cranbury is where the NJ Turnpike narrows going south and widens going north. I wonder if that had something to do with the accident. The story said that he had a kidney transplant in 2010, I would hope that doesn't complicate his treatment too much.
Yeah, the chubby white guy that turned off the safety systems in "Jurassic Park"...
Morgan is a black guy with an overly hoarse and raspy, some might claim "trademark", voice that drives me to turn off the whatever he's on for my own hearing safety.
James Earl Jones he's not...
I like him and I am not playing god here but I don’t think he is gonna make it prayers up for him and his family I just have a bad bad feeling about this one
Eight seasons on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and seven-or-so seasons on ‘30 Rock’.
Actually had his own show ten years ago.
They’re doing a widening project on the Turnpike that will extend the car/truck lanes all the way down from Exit 8A (Cranbury) to Exit 6. I wonder if the construction zone there had something to do with this.
One of my favorites.
I always like him as well. Hope he makes it.
I’m sorry to hear he’s not doing well. He was very funny in 30 Rock, which was a funny show itself, leaving aside its politics (which weren’t on display all the time).
Prayers for him. It looks like a horrible accident.
I will pray for Mr. Morgan’s recovery and for the souls of those who were killed in this awful crash.
I think he was about to break a big story about Bowe Bergdahl.
From what I remember, his plots were funnier than Tina Feh's or Jack McBrayer's, but his character was so abysmally stupid that it was hard to watch him very long, IMHO.
"You call that a head-on collision?! I've seen better explosions in a box of Pop-Rocks!"
He is funny at times. I’ve enjoyed some of his performances.
I too hope he makes it through this.
Meanwhile, the other nameless critical victims don’t count or warrant a mention by name.
Hope he and the other victims make it through OK - he’s had his share of troubles and has caused his share of troubles, but he’s talented, funny and instantly likable on the screen. This accident was apparently the fault of a dozing truck driver who plowed his 18-wheeler into the stalled traffic in front of him.
the whole turnpike is a mess. I went up to cranbury this winter and bypassed the whole mess.
Not sure he deserves this fate, but I think he’s about as funny as a burn ward.
Not a fan of Tracy’s but of course I wish him a full recovery. Apparently he has a small baby too. Fame and money can’t always protect you from danger. Prayers for all involved.
Driving NJ freeways is taking your life in your own hands. I have driven many states but this is the worst! Morning commute is total hell! It’s NASCAR with no rules!
Yea, Ive driven up there and the farther north you go and the closer to NYC, the crazier it gets.
But Ive also driven around the DC area, and it is the same thing. Ive a theory about the Washington Capitol Beltway just as the states send their representatives to Congress, they also send their worst and rudest drivers and all they do all day long is drive around 495 terrorizing citizens, pretty much like Congress come to think of it.
Not sure being a passenger on a limo bus fits in your category.
Twenty years of working in a major hospital's ER taught me that at 1AM at least 90% of the drivers on the road are either drunk or falling asleep.
I have been on the road many time at that hour and nothing has happened to me even as I text.......................................................................
“Meanwhile, the other nameless critical victims dont count or warrant a mention by name.”
This crash would probably have made the news even without a well known person being in it. It looks horrendous from the pictures.
One article at least had the name of the person who was killed, who was on Morgan’s limo bus. It seems they got the worst of it.
My guess is that people on a vehicle like that might not be wearing seatbelts.
But let’s not be mean about things, that’s so pointless.
One guy is dead, Morgan and 2 or 3 others are in bad shape. Let’s just hope they will recover.
If you don’t like Tracy Morgan, just skip the thread.
I live in NJ and drive in our awful, horrible, dreadful traffic every day, so that’s why I feel affected by this story.
The tractor trailers are terrifying to me.
The Walmart truck driver has been charged. Fell asleep at the wheel.
Yes, I saw that. Very frightening.
