Remember, the White House was presented with far more extensive and detailed information than this by the DoD about this guy.

They knew EXACTLY what Bergdahl did when they used him as an excuse to release the top tier of the Taliban leadership back into the fight.

This is a 1-5 screw against America by our own president, who then went off to chew gum while representing America before the world at the D-Day celebrations.

It’s hard to even take in that this is happening. It’s mind-boggling, in fact.

One of Bergdahl’s fellow Soldiers said on The Kelly File that a patrol was sent out very quickly after Bergdahl left. He said that they hadn’t gone 10 feet when two Afghan boys told them that there was an American crawling through the weeds. Why was he crawling? He was crawling because he was trying to get away from the American Soldiers without being seen and brought back. He wasn’t out looking for butterflies. He was deserting.

I was EXTREMELY skeptical of “Michael Hastings was murdered” but I am much more receptive to that theory now.

" Bowe Bergdahl, the Army sergeant"

He is a private. He was promoted on the assumption that he was captured. He left his post without permission. He IS NOT A SERGEANT.

Number 6. He refuses to speak the Devil tongue English.

Number 7. He has not been reported to have said anything following his “release” even romotely hinting that he is happy about his current situation or thankful to be “home”.

Perhaps Bergdahl was on a mission to help the Taliban kill as many U.S. troops as possible. Was he working on behalf of a rogue pro-Islamic element within one of our 3 letter agencies?? State Department, maybe?? Is this what Michael Hastings was uncovering in his investigation??

when I served -69-77 I noticed that we could start out on a mission—and on occasion intel would come in and the Mission would change—the objectives would change. now these indications are all seemingly REASONABLE—AND THATBBOTHERS ME THE OTHER SIDE DOESN’T HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR REASON.

I think the Taliban forced Bergdahl to leave against his will because he wanted to stay. They had to drug him into a stupor to get him to go along with it.

It’s hard to even take in that this is happening. It’s mind-boggling, in fact.

Our Linguine with Shrimp Scampi spined Congress as well as the Senate need to be completely replaced. I believe the Terrorist(s) in the oval office have a dream of declaring Martial Law on the U.S., flushing the Constitution, and kicking doors in after midnight every night.

He’ll soon be a Staff Sergeant, E-6. Makes me want to burn my Spec. 6 insignia.

8. He is now on a clandestine mission on behalf of his jihadis.

9. On his return, I’ve watched several times a photo where he is wiping away tears while sitting in a vehicle. You can bet that if those were tears of joy, a microphone would have been in his face instantly.

The Taliban are laughing their asses off at our Clown Prince.

They traded a low level deserting turncoat for Five high level dedicated terrorist generals.

They probably got at least $10 million in hidden ransom payments on top of it.

And they can undo the Drone King in one press release anytime they want by just publishing the real details of this trade.

If Obama paid even a nickle in ransom to effectuate this deal, then his rule is over. The Taliban has him by the short hairs and they know it.

I sent the following letter to a friend who isn’t military who asked my opinion about the bergdahl swap. I wrote the following:

Hi J___,

Most telling of all, for anyone who’s ever been around the military is the fact that every single one of PFC Bergdahl’s squad mates all know and say that he deserted. They are unanimous. All of them say that others died looking for the guy. They say they don’t know his motives, and they’d like to ask him why he did it, but they are certain that he left without authority…deserted

As far as swapping him for 5 high level Taliban commanders, that would be like the US in World War II swapping 5 Nazi generals we held in captivity for ONE United States PFC. (Bergdahl was a PFC when he deserted. The only reason he was promoted while away is because absent further evidence the military assumed he was a POW, and regulations require POWs be promoted automatically. But, he was a PFC when he deserted.)

We NEVER would have swapped 5 generals for one PFC in WWII….or any other war we’ve ever fought.

This notion that we “don’t leave people behind” is also not a true statement of what is actually practiced. We have had huge numbers of POWs in the past who were not swapped for and were only released at the end of wars. It’s just a fact. Will units try hard and heroically to recover their dead and wounded friends? Absolutely. But that is different than saying it is US military policy. For example, if a platoon has a mission of being a decoy so an effective attack can be launched by an entire division, should the lieutenant sacrifice the entire platoon to recover the body of a dead team member, or should he complete his critical mission that if not completed will result in an entire division of soldiers being put at risk? Obviously, his mission is what is critical. Hopefully, in the aftermath, they can recover their dead comrade, but at the critical moment of decision the mission overrides. That’s always been the way it is.

So, this terrible decision will return 5 generals to the Taliban. These men will get involved again in fighting America, and they will kill more of our own. It is a stunningly bad decision.

Faith,

S___
