After the way he’s governing, he’s got some cojones to have made a statement like that.
Obama has made Bush the good old days...
If you want something Totally Screwed Up , Call OBAMA
Obama is a wing nut. He is about to lose it, and then watch the media vitriol and increasing rise of his fascism.
Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned.
He’s a punkass POS. Nothing more, but perhaps a whole lot less.
If Google has a “forget” function for the internet, how soon before all the annoying historical statements start to disappear off the net, lost to those who don’t have paper records indexed?
Obama has made Bush the good old days...
It was Bush’s failures - and massive unpopularity - that elected Obama. Barak is president thanks to Bush - the Iraq war and the financial freefall of 2008, primarily.
the wayback machine arcchives millions if not billions of pages a year...
all of obamas JIVE is stored on the Internet Archives Somewhere....even the stuff theyve wiped from barack obama.com...and whitehouse, gov
they may not archive all the stuff on twitter....but then again
Well he certainly proved himself wrong on that count.
Now . . .
What is so pathetic about this is, George Bush wasn’t even his competition. The goofy Americans fell for it.
Yep. He’s had 6 years ....and played golf. No excuse buddy...
Horn’s are bout to be poppin’
Actually what got Obama elected were the incessant lies told by the media.
I agree that those were issues, but I don’t think they had anything to do with O being elected. I think someone with the power to do so ran him over the top of all of us. If it was just a matter of the issues with Bush we would have Hillary, not O.
“What got Obama elected were the incessant lies told by the media”
You mean it was a lie that we had a huge stock market crash, bank-funds freeze-up, and recession, in 2008? You need to tell Bush that this was a media lie, because he responded to it with TARP, dumping billions of our tax dollars on banks.
And it was also a lie that the Iraq war was a disaster? Hmmm. Could have fooled me - and anyone who dares to go to Iraq these days, where the violence is as bad as ever.
But that’s ok, keep telling yourself that it’s all “media lies,” if you can’t handle reality.
The next President, or Dictator; whichever it may be will be able to use this line for a long time because of the massive amount of damage this dictator has done!
It was only after the surge in Iraq and it became apparent that we would win in iraq that the media pivoted to destroying the economy. Bush had had remarkably low unemployment but when it became clear that the media was determined to lie and prepare the way for a socialist president people began selling assets.
Same happened with the crash of ‘29.
He’s still saying the first fourteen words of that until this very day.
sorry, but we had a steadily expanding housing bubble for six years under Bush - a bubble that was bound to pop with disastrous consequences. And bush helped expand the bubble by actively promoting minority home-loan programs to lower lending qualifications . It was part of Rove’s plan to make Latinos into Republicans
Many people are still sitting on wealth because of investment in real estate. So it wasn’t all bad.
The bush people tried to reform the thing before it burst but the dems refused. When Obama started moving ahead because of media lies is when the bubble burst. the advent of a socialist Congress and president will do that.
Like the Dr. on Fox News said....Barry’s insane.
Don’t recall Reagan ever blaming Carter, he fixed whatever mess was left over and went on to become a great president.
Obama ran out of excuses long before his first term ended. Re-election was entirely undeserved. Now his legacy will become that of the worst president ever. All he can avoid now is being run out of office.
Blaming Bush for all these problems is the same as blaming slavery for all problems. Same tactic for the same people who want to hear it.
Back in the USSR, the new bosses always blamed the old bosses for any problems no matter how the problems came in to being.
The new fascist/communists are no different, the problem is no one in the conservative media calls the fascists out on this tactic.
He’s way in over his head and is desperate to shift the blame.
Man it’s hard talking reality to Bushbots. I’m not going to waste my energy
Blaming Bush ...
The way FDR - and Truman after him - blamed Hoover for the Depression. Of course, the fact that blaming Hoover wasn’t entirely fair, didn’t make Hoover a good president
Same with Bush. The fact Obama blames him for everything doesn’t mean Bush was a good president.
Dont recall Reagan ever blaming Carter
Good point. Reagan fixed Carter’s messes. Obama hasn’t fixed Bush’s messes.
The bush people tried to reform the thing
That’s a myth. Rove and Bush had a “making home ownership affordable” program that called for relaxing lending standards for poor people - part of Rove’s latino outreach plans. This allowed unqualified buyers to get into the housing market, over theiir heads, pushing up prices and setting us all up for a catastrophic bubble-burst
google, “making home affordable” - Bush’s program for no-down-payment homebuying for poor people. Started long before 2006, and helped ignite the housing bubble that led to the 2008 crash. THANKS GEORGE BUSH!
See I knew you could do it!
