I agree with you on the media/press being our main opponent.

I would add the educational establishment as a close second because if you listen to young millennials today, they parrot the Democrat party line without knowing the truth or understanding history or civics, etc. They also believe if they argue loudly enough, they will cow the opposition into not responding or arguing back.

Speaking of impeachment....General Mulcasey had the best comment of all...SOMEBODY QUICK TELL THE REPUBLICANS!

He said that, technically, the President broke no laws. There is a provision in that notify congress thing in that the prez can move without congressional approval should it be necessary. So they came up with that poor health thing and sent, as is their wont, Susan Rice out to lie.

Mulcasey said that it is also perfectly legal for the President of the U.S. to release everybody in a federal prison at one time if he desired. He has pardon powers after all.

So he’d break no law but would such an action be something for the betterment of the country, a result our President should want and NOT in keeping with his oath of office.

Why can’t Boehner get out of the tanning booth and say the same as above and say it over and over and over?

Instead we get Lindsay saying NEXT TIME?

Oh, and y’all heard about the VA hospitals in Arizona are neck deep in the falsifying of records?

Arizona?

Hmmm, isn’t one of that state’s senators the champion of the military man?

Am I to understand that Juan McCain knew NOTHING about the VA issues in his state, that not on constituent every complained?

No wait....wasn’t McCain working heartily to improve the VA system as a keystone of his presidential campaign in 2008?

NO WAIT....that was campaign finance reform, something we all lay awake nights worrying about.

Kudos to FOX News and Chris Wallace on a great show.

Juan Williams is either certifiably nuts
or an Obama-plant purporting the deserter
and maker-of-IEDs-for-the-Taliban is ... a “child”.

Serious.

He said this.

Well, I live in Maine, with a 1.5 million population and a very low crime rate.

Even we have story after story in the news of these jerk types breaking in, executing their ex’s and then killing themselves or fleeing.

Find some of these clippings from your area and give them to her. Ask her who is supposed to protect her daughter....THE POLICE? (only minutes away when seconds count)

The only other solution I see is for some unnamed pistol packin’ granny to move in immediately.

Even if the House came up with Articles of Impeachment, Reid’s Senate would table them.

You have to remember that the Articles of Impeachment are in effect an indictment with the House sitting as a Grand Jury. There is no burden of proof. Only charges are made. Reid cannot table anything

A realistic hope would be that the sheer volume and weight of them would make the Dems to abandon The One for their own self interest..

Only one comment today, because I am in a hotel with wife after a family wedding last night, followed by a high-school graduation on the way back home later this afternoon. Talk about event timing.

So, speaking of timing, either Obama had the Bergdahl deal in his back pocket waiting for a new scandal to push off the attention radar, or having the Friendly Fire from the VA scandal just was a two-fer for him.

The Bergdahl deal might just be the Obama Doctrine solution to his problem with his base; when will Gitmo get closed? After all, now that the guys at the top of the bad guy list have bene released, what's the harm in releasing the lesser bad guys?

And how many American lives do you want to risk putting these bad guys back in custody?

Bottom line; Obama has just undone all the years of sacrifice and controversy we spent in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11/2001. Next time we go into an undeclared war, we need to set a requirement that we go into war, win it, solve the problem that created the need to go to war in the first place, and then come home. We have a moral obligation to minimize the need for war, but we do not have a moral obligation to re-build a country that was a mess in the firat place.

If we do want to go into the re-building business, we should start with someplace local like Detroit, and figure out what works before we keep experimenting all over the globe.

Have a good weekend, See you next Sunday.

As always, thanks for the thread, Alas.

With all due respect, the Haqquani Network pays nobody money for anything.

But Qatar does. In fact, the Arab world has poured lots of money into the DNC via nefarious funding streams since 2004. I won’t go into details here except to say I’m fairly sure Obama got a lot more than one pathetic deserter in his ongoing business with Qatar.

“child” reference is a direct off-shoot of Obama calling him and other soldiers “kids” earlier in the week.

I kept waiting for the WH to release to the media pictures of Little Bowe at about age 10.

If we were to go the impeachment route it would be suicidal to do it before we take the Senate. Even then if you think they have played the race card before just wait until the dear one gets impeached.

If it were me I would go after the true movers and shakers of the regime. The Axelrods, Jarrets,Plouffes, wrong Rice and others who really run the show and completely leave ozero out of the mess. It would blow their minds. Even the stupid party members of the dems wouldn't know what to do.

Great post and exactly right.

By bringing the Taliban leadership back just at the time we leave Afghanistan the regime has destroyed everything we went to Afghanistan to do. This was obviously the game from the start of negotiations.

That’s a possibility I hadn’t thought about. That if you follow the invisible money trail you might find that the Saudis or Qatar actually picked up the tab for the four major league Taliban terror types not us. Who knows whom else got a little gold for their trouble as well?

Jarrett's the main one. It would be huge to have her in some sort of legal jeopardy, publicly, so that she beomes the focus of attention and people can start to see the malignant influence she has; also to occupy her time so she's too busy defending herself to be pulling Barry's strings. She's crooked as the day is long so there must be something that can be stuck to her. But the trick is to find someone who isn't terrified of her willing to drop a dime.

I don’t think you are in such a small minority any more. It just makes good sense that someone who won’t release his grades, can’t run a lemonade stand is not very bright.

This discussion presumes (wrongly) that only Obama runs the show and thus he is either diabolical or incompetent.

But Obama is the front lady, an actress, and a damn good one. The Left hand-picked him to the exclusion of one of their icons, Rodham Rodham Rodham, and there was good reason for it.

We argue that the Demovik Party and the American Left is “incompetent” to our own detriment. They are beating us every which way from Sunday. Yes, they have setbacks, but, big picturewise, they know EXACTLY what they are doing.

We are not gonna win anything calling them stupid.

There’s no doubt in my mind Qatar has been paying the Demoviks off—for instance, how else did al Jazeera TV get into basic cable packages in the USA?

I bet the deal for the five Talibansky is just a minor part of a much bigger set of transactions.

Did you ever wonder why Kadafi fell in Libya but Assad held on in Syria? I wish I could say more but I can’t.

the Demovik Party and the American Left =

Essentially all public education, most college and university professors and staff, virtually all press and broadcast media, virtually all government "employees" federal, state, and local...virtually every city. Most blacks, most Mexicans, most Asians, most "single mothers" most P/Ms, tree huggers and union thugs.

That's all.

Oh, did I tell you he wets the bed when he gets drunk, which is every night

I dated her. She actually peed ON me one time.

No, it wasn't like the other times, when I asked for it. This one was unwanted.

and goes out to crack parties (which somehow he manages to get a ride to never mind a job) every chance he gets?

Yeah, this guy is an asshole.

First thing, don’t even go out on a date with a guy WITHOUT A JOB!

I have a prestigious job with a prestigious group doing prestigious things all the prestigious time.

I tell her all the time that I am sure she will meet a nice fellow in the future. Of course she says she’s not interested in men.

I'm not interested in women at this time (the Peeing Girl turned me off). She and I should get married and we could be uninterested in eachother all the time.

Great idea to go after the shadowy characters who actually pull the strings for Obama, especially ValJar.

Recall how hogtied they had Rove when the special prosecutor got Scooter and was hard after the Turd Blossom, requiring him to attend grand jury repeatedly to save his hide, and neglect his WH duties?

This woman could be investigated until doomsday - much dirt on her. Probably start with her hate for Jan Brewer lead to dumping of all those alien kids into Arizona.

Congressional Hearings! Lawsuits by states! Hogtie them!

You’re a nut.

She never told me about the peeing. I thought it was probably a random kind of thing because one time somebody pees in bed with me, there are, at the very least, out of the bed.

Which Melissa does but sometimes he crawls back in with her as she sleeps. To show how bad it is, she said her mother-in-law bought them a new comforter for this past Christmas.

She said it’s raveling and falling apart now for too many washings.

Wow, to tear apart a comforter from too many washings....she begs him to sleep on the floor. He’s peed at other people’s house, only when drunk I don’t know why, and no one, not even his own family, want him staying the night.

As for the crack thing, he’s done this twice in the past two years. When he lived up in Baltimore he bought home a woman and wanted Melissa to sleep with her and join in the crack party. He also bought in a homeless man once and insisted Melissa let him inside to go to bathroom.

My now deceased husband and I planned on using a reverse mortgage to get the equity money out of our house and buy her one. Which I did after his death but we both planned on it. We knew we had to get her and granddaughter out of there.

He’s really a disgusting skuzzbucket.

Say a prayer she don’t take him back.

John Kerry on State of the Union, please.

It infuriates me how they use the made up word “swiftboated” when absolutely nobody lied about John Kerry the plastic surgeon’s dreamboat what shouldn’t be on a swiftboat.

Imagine that, the press uses another word describing yet another self-iimportant traitor to describe Kerry’as accusers, then turns around and uses it against those fine men that this CHILD(Juan Williams term) betrayed.

Now I watch McCain, whose state has massive VA abuses and he knew nothing.

But, even if we take the Senate, we will not have the 2/3 required for conviction and removal. I say, let the process work as it was intended. DO the next right thing.

The Bergdahl matter would have already vanished into the memory hole, had not the eyewitnesses stepped up to do the right thing. War gaming out possible scenarios is interesting and somewhat useful, but, it should not be the only driver of what is to be done.

In FOXNEWS fair and balance, Juan has a point, and even if he is wrong, fair and balanced offers it as a valid option.

And watching Bill O’Reilly finally catch on a little, he says Obama isn’t good at Economics or Foreign Policy, does O’Reilly want to argue his Domestic Policy is any better with Chicago now becoming worse than Detroit crime-wise, always trying to do anything to disarm the law abiding citizen, half the country on welfare, an Energy Policy to leave Americans without any, ect, Bill?...
