Why Clinton Will Run
The Washington Post ^ | Friday, June 6, 2014 | Ruth Marcus

Posted on 06/08/2014 7:08:04 AM PDT by kristinn

The last few days have offered vivid illustrations of why Hillary Clinton could decide not to run for president — and why, in the end, I believe she will.

Example No. 1 is the ludicrous debate over whether Clinton, in the latest People magazine cover, was leaning on a walker.

SNIP

The fact that the phantom walker was even a topic of public debate says everything about the wacko media environment that uniquely surrounds Clinton.

“PHOTO: IS CLINTON HOLDING A WALKER?” the Drudge Report tweeted. Right, not saying she is. Just askin’.

The Washington Free Beacon chimed in with a semiotic analysis of the People cover. “The cover looks innocent enough, but a close analytical reading reveals what can only be interpreted as a deliberate effort to call attention to the former secretary of state and Goldman Sachs affiliate’s advanced age,” editor Andrew Stiles wrote, noting the proximity of the word “grandmother” to Clinton’s hands on “what a layperson might reasonably assume to be an old person’s walker.”

SNIP

This is Clinton Derangement Syndrome on steroids, reminiscent of the Hillary-Clinton-murdered-Vince-Foster delusions two decades earlier. It is worth paying attention to only because of the role this phenomenon may play in Clinton’s decision-making on a presidential run.

SNIP

Putin is a master of the strategic needle. How interesting that his put-down begins and ends with Clinton’s gender. Women aren’t significant enough to be worth arguing with. I prefer my women weak.

This gender-specific dismissiveness is as nonsensical in its own way as the walker kerfuffle. Putin is simultaneously accusing Clinton of being too strong (insufficiently feminine and “graceful”) and too mild. Either way, in Putin-land, she is a woman; therefore, she is a lesser creature.

Which is why, ultimately, I think Clinton runs...

The Clinton's are well aware of the stupidity of many American voters. This witch is keeping up interest by keeping before the public the question-"will she or won't she run?" The media is, of course, complicit.

We cannot survive a Clinton following the imbecile currently in the White House.

Of course she’ll run. Because she cares for average citizens like us. LOL!!

She and Bill have added over $100,000,000.00 to their bank accounts in their lives as “public servants.”

So Ruth Marcus believes Comrade Obama will leave?

There is nothing to stop his signing an E.O. making his regime permanent.

Hillary has her hands resting on the back of a chair, not a walker.

Depending on how she does with her book, I think she may or may not run. The way she’s handled Benghazi is going to hurt her, even with the ‘rat base.

I always wonder about the fact that, at this point in the run up to the 2008 election cycle, Hillary was being talked up as being inevitable. At this point leading up to 2008, she was the front runner. Barack Obama was unknown to most Americans at that time.

Point is, she was inevitable once before, and was taken out by another candidate. Is it possible that someone else will come along and challenge her this time?

I’ve heard that the Clintons are not universally loved by Democrats. And that if Hillary runs and wins, she will block out other ambitious Democrats until 2024. You figure if she runs and wins in 2016, then she runs for re-election in 2020, the next open nomination for such Democrats waiting in the wings is 2024. Ten years from now.

Plus, the Clintons are not liberal enough for the radicals who have taken over the Democrat party in recent years.

I don’t think Hillary is inevitable. I think she will be a formidable candidate, but I also think that a cabal of more liberal Democrats would like to take her out again.

Clinton will win in a stolen election just like the past two.

The Republican Party made an agreement 30 years ago with the Democrat Party NOT to ensure voting integrity and NOT to pursue suspected vote fraud.

Republicans cant stop innner city voter fraud. Swing states are easy to steal.

Get Ready for Hitlary. Here She COmes.

"I don’t think Hillary is inevitable."

If she loses, or doesn't run, will she then become "unevitable."

What states will Hillary lose that Obama won? Of course Hillary will run and win. The Dems have given us our first black President. In 2016 we will have another "historic" election with our first woman President. And in 2024 we will have our first Hispanic President. Demography is destiny.

Looks like Hillary is trying to serve us another Blue Plate special, with a twist.

She wants to be president, but she doesn't want to be held accountable for the problems incurred by her inability to govern at all.

So, if she runs into any flack about her past failures in her job she can blame her recently past head trauma for it and at the same time appear to remain stoic enough to garner enough votes for the nomination of her party.

Needless to say, she would make a lousy president, about as lousy as the current occupant of the White House.

The Clintons are following their MO. It’s propaganda at its best. She never says she will do anything right up front until she does. The truth is she already knows via the people who she fronts for.

How can someone be president if they’re so unpopular that their heavily publicized new book is only Number 5 on the Amazon-100 Bestsellers list?

Even a book by someone named Diana Gabaldon is higher up on the list than Hillary’s.

And we know that liberals buy books because a book of poems by Maya Angelo is at Number 2.

In addition, a book by the extremely UNpublicized Republican Ben Carson is at Number 17.

At least Hillary’s more popular than her most feared competition, Elizabeth Warren, who’s recently published book is languishing at 1,043rd on the list.

The Democrats need to find out who Diana Gabaldon is, and, if she looks presentable and hasn’t fallen on her head recently and her publicist has the sense not to allow her to be photographed anywhere near anything that even resembles an old person’s walker, the DNC should declare her the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and be done with it.

Obama doesn't want to stay - he's already bored. He either wants to just play golf and vacation, or get some fluff job like Secretary General of the U.N. - something where he doesn't have to work too hard.

Hillary might not want to run. She will be about 68 during the campaign year, has already had some health issues, and running for president is a real physical grind - constant travel for months on end. I would not be surprised that if she did try to run, she passed out somewhere along the way.

Take a look around the Democrat Party and see who wants to be a millionaire, and isn’t one. Then, look for the person who can get the sympathy vote. They will not reveal that person at this time, because the Republicans could prepare for her. And it isn’t Hillary or Paleface Lizzy Warren.

Hillary Clinton will run. She agreed to let Bill have first run at it, humiliating her along the way.

She feels like she is owed this, similar to the way Al Gore felt about the presidency. They both worked their whole lives for it. Al, deranged as he is, channeled his energy into global warming nonsense.

I have a feeling, if Hillary doesn’t get the job on 2016, her mind and health will probably not last long after that. What else does she have to live for?

I don’t feel sorry for her at all, because she is a viscious, evil person, just like her husband.
