A member of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s platoon in Afghanistan said Sunday the former Taliban prisoner deserted his post before being captured and fired back against Obama administration arguments that only Bergdahl knows exactly what happened.
“After Bowe Bergdahl purposely and willfully walked away, every single mission was titled toward finding him,” platoon medic Joshua Cornelison told “Fox News Sunday.” “We were there. This isn’t some second- or third-hand account.”
Cornelison’s comments come several days after a State Department spokeswoman told Fox News that Bergdahl is “probably the person who knows best what happened on that night” and dismissed published accounts from platoon mates about the events surrounding Bergdahl’s June 5, 2009, disappearance and capture.

No one in The Regime wants to talk about that and the a google search of his name and ABCBSNBC does not disclose his name, except in an August 2009 ABC list of current casualties. The ABCBSNBC press not only does OBAMA’s bidding they invent ways to carry it out.

Yeah, it’d be nice to think that some young officers or SNCOs who are making a career of it would have the stones to back these former enlisted publicly, but it’s asking a Hell of a lot for very little tactical advantage.
These young men who are speaking out seem to have it covered pretty well. Throwing out a career just to say “Me too” doesn’t make sense, especially if they are even one step removed from what went down. Why self immolate like LtCol Lakin just to make some noise?
I think the fact that the administration hasn’t trotted out somebody still in uniform to contradict the former soldiers speaks volumes. I’m pretty sure if they had some SgtMaj or field grade Officer who was in that chain of command willing to call these guys a bunch of mutinous malingerers, they’d have a microphone and a big, bright stage set up pretty quick.

I thought about that. Technically, they could be actionable due to the non-disclosure agreements they signed. It would depend on the wording, but my one time signing one, I remember it being a standard form that had a vague reference to the non-disclosure item then added. If they did the same, then it would have legalese that would make it binding.
The few references to it, it seemed I heard the platoon members saying they thought it only covered until he was out of danger, and if that’s the way it’s written, then they’re free and clear. If that’s just an assumption on their part, then I can actually see this stupid administration going after them.
Or, they could use their standard methodology and send the IRS or the BLM to torment them individually.

1) These guys aren't anyone's troops anymore.
2) What more could a lieutenant add to the statement, "Yes, he deserted"?
3) What makes anyone who hasn't done a news interview to say the same thing as the other guys cowards?
There may be some good left in Sgt. Hagel. He has shown a smattering of goodness here and there. But he remains enslaved to His Master. And he does not understand that he is now hitched to Evil.

I respected Leon Panetta. This man was a DC insider, but he was a VERY effective manager.

Panetta didn't take garbage from Obama. In fact, if some media reports are correct, it was Penatta and Hillary that ordered the hit on Osama - despite Valerie Jarrett's and Obama's protest.
I never respected Gates - he was a weasel. But he was independent. I thought it was God's will he stayed for a short time after Bush left Obama Hussein took over.
Still, he was LIGHT YEARS ahead of Sgt. Hagel - who will go down in US history as the worst SECDEF of all time.
The man furloughed DoD teachers and nurses at Walter Reed, and then exempted "Sexual Assault" propaganda artists who had been hired 2 weeks prior. He wants Transsexuals in the ranks. He gave away hundreds of Millions in "same sex" benefits" at the same time he gave away Billions to the Muslim Brotherhood - and then furloughed low ranking maintenance workers in the DoD who needed their meager paycheck (and that was NEVER repaid).
Hagel will have to live with himself. History catches up with each of us.
Well, actually, it would require two things: First, the delusion that the enemy will greet you with open arms, and second, the desire to spend the rest of your life living like an Afghan.
