Kerry: 'Baloney' to Think Released Taliban Will Kill More Americans
newsmax.com ^ | 6/8/2014 | Unknown

Posted on 06/08/2014 10:45:08 AM PDT by rktman

Secretary of State John Kerry says it's "a lot of baloney" to suggest the five Taliban prisoners released in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will return to battle and kill Americans.

Still, he tells CNN, if they try they'll likely be killed themselves.

Just when we thought we were safe from john f'n kohn-heinz-kerry making stupid statements, he rears his long face yet again. But he does at least warn them that if they were to assault Americans, they'd likely be killed themselves. There. That ought to put the fear of allah in to them.

Kerry promised to release his SF 180

He lied.

Why should we believe him now?

It’s just incredible that our own government and nation has been turned over to such radical and dangerous jackasses. To put this anti-American and anti-Semitic traitor in charge of our State Dept. is something I thought I’d never see.

This jerk is probably hoping, as are all liberals, that his head will be one of the last heads cut off by these savages.

Lord help us!

So Kerry is alright with a few Americans soldiers and Afghans getting killed while we try to find them again and this time kill them. Wow, what a sacrifice Kerry is making.

Why are we releasing people from Gitmo?

As I understand, these guys were picked up in battle, and are enemy combatants.

As I understand, they are all supposed to have military tribunals determine their status.

As I understand, the results of their trials would determine what happens to them. Meaning if found guilty, they serve a military prison sentence. Otherwise, would be set free.

My question is whether any of these guys had their day in court; were their cases adjudicated? Or did Obama just decide to be like a sports team general manager, and trade these guys for one of ours?

Does the president have the authority to do prisoner swaps in the first place?

This really is a giant problem - the POTUS is putting Americans at terrible risk for his own revenge - revenge at what I don’t know. He needs to be escorted out of the White House and out of the country.

There is something seriously psychologically wrong with him - in addition to his politics. Read a post this a.m. about a woman who works with seriously abused children and she had a blog in which she warned that Obama showed symptoms of serious abuse as a child - for this she was hounded to shut the blog down. Well what about that scar on his head and why was he sent to live with his grandparents.

The man is sick and we’re having to pay for it.

MAJOR cognitive dissonance. Orwellian doublethink applied to the office of the Secretary of State has corrupted its original function altogether.

The Department of State, or the Ministry for External Affairs, or Grand Vizier and Plenipotentiary all have a similar function - to represent the interests of the leader of the home country in the halls of other countries or confederations. The leaders of the countries or confederations are also supposed to be representative of the interests of that respective nation or confederacy.

It is almost as if that territory once known as “the United States of America” has been reduced to a vassal state of a combination of socialist and Islamic ideologies that have seized control of several strategic land masses in the world.

We are really better than that. Much better.

I wonder why the tribunals for Gitmo detainees didn’t happen. I know there was an issue when Eric Holder wanted them to have civilian trials in New York City federal court, and due to the uproar, the administration canceled those plans.

But they should still see a military trial take place, to determine their fate.

It certainly seems that the strategy of the Regime is to appease AQ and the Taliban with the naive hope that they will stop trying to kill us.
We shouldn’t have had the problem of Gitmo..they should have been tried and executed within two weeks of their capture. These captives are not soldiers in a national army, they are armed terrorists who observe no rules...tribunals and execution.

Point to ponder:

EVERY single politician, candidate and political party in DC has opposition research.

EVERY single politician, candidate and political party in DC has a complete background of every potential nominee to every position open and or appointable in DC.

The above is not a matter for debate. It is a fact. It is the way politics has and always will work. Now, The above being true, not only did the Democrats forward this absolute incompetent for the top job in foreign relations, but the F’ing GOP, who RAN AGAINST HIM IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, bent over and blessed his ascension.

Now people give me crap about ragging on the GOP and claim I am pushing Obama. Really? Then why don’t one of you geniuses who do so explain to me in detail why the people that could have ended this madness before it began gave it their blessing?

Read a post this a.m. about a woman who works with seriously abused children and she had a blog in which she warned that Obama showed symptoms of serious abuse as a child

Robin of Berkeley from 2011?

Because Obama will not change. He will not learn from his mistakes. He will not grow and mature from on-the-job experience. In fact, over time, Obama will likely become a more ferocious version of who he is today.

Why? Because this is a damaged person. Obama's fate was sealed years ago growing up in his strange and poisonous family. Later on, his empty vessel was filled with the hateful bile of men like Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers.

Obama will not evolve; he will not rise to the occasion; he will not become the man he was meant to be. This is for one reason and one reason alone:

He is not capable of it.

This should concern all of us. Remember how Bill Clinton issued tons of pardons on his last day as president? Suppose Obama plans to keep delaying doing anything about Gitmo, then issues pardons on his last day on the job. Legally, not sure if he can do that, because these prisoners at Gitmo are not tried and convicted. But, the way he has taken to ruling by decree, I would not be surprised if he releases them on Jan. 19, 2017.

To paraphrase Al Gore, where is the controlling legal authority on dealing with the Gitmo prisoners? Is it all at the whim of the president, to release them whenever he sees fit, without any legal procedure taking place?????
