Secretary of State John Kerry says it's "a lot of baloney" to suggest the five Taliban prisoners released in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will return to battle and kill Americans.
Still, he tells CNN, if they try they'll likely be killed themselves.

Why are we releasing people from Gitmo?
As I understand, these guys were picked up in battle, and are enemy combatants.
As I understand, they are all supposed to have military tribunals determine their status.
As I understand, the results of their trials would determine what happens to them. Meaning if found guilty, they serve a military prison sentence. Otherwise, would be set free.
My question is whether any of these guys had their day in court; were their cases adjudicated? Or did Obama just decide to be like a sports team general manager, and trade these guys for one of ours?
Does the president have the authority to do prisoner swaps in the first place?
These bungh*les would be better off if they would just SHUT UP.
