A Metro source has confirmed that two police officers died today, victims of a shooting in the northeast part of the valley.
The source said one officer was shot and killed about 11:30 a.m. at Cici's Pizza at 309 N. Nellis Ave. The other officer was shot there and died while in surgery at UMC.
At a 1:30 p.m. news conference Metro said one person was killed inside Walmart and two suspects were killed in the back of the store.
The two suspects told other shoppers that they were part of a revolution and wanted a shootout with Metro. However, they had a suicide pact and killed themselves.

They shot the two officers first at a pizza place, took their belts off then walked into Wal-Mart where the male shooter was heard saying “Everyone here is going to die”

According to police, two people walked into a Cici Pizza restaurant at 309 North Nellis
and appeared to target two Metro officers who were eating at the restaurant. One person
shot one officer in the head. The second person shot the second officer.......
The two suspects then left the restaurant and went into the Wal-Mart store across the
street where they shot a citizen and then shot each other. Both suspects are dead.
