...Muslim Movements to Christ

Something is happening in the Muslim world, something unprecedented in history. Over the past 14 centuries, Islam has forged a ‘spiritual empire’ that stretches from West Africa to Indonesia. Today, the Dar al-Islam or “House of Islam,” as Muslims call their religious community, counts more than one in five persons on earth.

The most popular TV shows in many muslim lands are the Christian (satellite) stations; and parents know they can let their children watch the children’s shows because they won’t be filled with mullahs lecturing about becoming martyrs.

Literally millions of muslims are being exposed to Christianity (not the false impression of it given by muslim teachers).

Likewise, millions of DVDs in local languages are circulated in muslim lands.

Again, the story of Jesus is getting through (and piercing the curtain of deceptions which muslim teachers have woven for so many centuries).

And the fact that Christianity must be studied and discussed in secrecy infuses it with great power and mystery.

Interesting. Thanks for posting.

From, “The Quranic Concept of War”...

The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the be- lievers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.”— Majid Khadduri

This first movement was followed by a further 10 Muslim movements to Christ in the late 20th century. But something now is happening. In the first 12 years of the 21st century, we have already seen more than 60 new Muslim movements to Christ!

What's a "movement"? Ten Muslims? 60 Muslims? I'd call that a fart in the wind in the house.

It looks good on paper and I hope that Muslims finally do see the light of Christ.

But there is so little evidence of it in the world and even less among Muslims right here at home.

I have been privileged to meet and our church sponsors a Turkish man who has studied to be a pastor and is now back in Turkey. What impressed me is the caliber of this man. He had a dream which he knew was God telling him Jesus is real. After that he tried to find a way to prove that Jesus is a lie. The Imams all told him to forget about it and gave him no real help. He found no books in Turkish to help him. So he taught himself English and began to translate Fox’s Book of Martyrs etc!!! His English was easier to understand than our Irish friend who traveled with him! Remarkable. If God is tapping this type of person in Islam (and He is) He must really be serious about moving them to Jesus!

I wouldn’t call 1000 out of several billion much to crow about.

REMEMBER, Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Tunisia. Morrocco, Algeria, Syria, Asia Minor, Mesopotamia, were ALL Christian before Mohammad. Before Mohammad, there were Christian communities in Saudi Arabia. Before Mohammad, there were monotheistic Zoroastrians in Iran and all of the Indian subcontinent was Hindu or Buddhist.

I’ll reserve judgment until I see more of these maniacs converted or disposed of.

.
Although I do not know him, I must agree.

By returning to Turkey, he put himself in harm’s way for Christ.

He now wears a target on his back.

It will take more than the Holy Spirit.

The New Testament says otherwise. I'll go with that document.

In places where there is open debate and free choice, Christianity does well in competition with Islam (e.g. in black Africa). There is no consistent logical or moral case for Islam - it is just a changing hodgepodge thrown together by Muhammed to support and enlarge his dictatorship.

That is why Islam has always resorted to censorship and violent oppression - from Muhammed to this day. Their case always boils down to “shut up and obey or we will kill you” if you drill down deep enough. That is why there is a death penalty for “insulting” the prophet. That is why there is a death penalty for changing your religion to anything else from Islam (”apostasy” or “desertion”). Children who are born muslim under their rules, are never given a choice under sharia - submit or die.

Sheik Qaradawi, probably the most famous muslim preacher as a star on al Jazeera (in Arabic) and as spiritual guide to the Muslim Brotherhood, stated last year that Islam would cease to exist without the death penalty for apostasy.

Doctrinally, Islam is in a permanent state of war with the non-muslim world - called the Dar-al-Harb (world of struggle) vs. the Dar-al-Islam (world of submission), until all of humanity is forced to submit. Know your enemy. It is not a religion like others. It is a co-option of religion in the service of totalitarian dictatorship.

Anything is moral under sharia to advance the power of their gang - lying in the interest of Islam (taqiya) is not just permissible (helal), it is considered a moral duty. Similarly, any moral crime that would otherwise be forbidden (haram), such as murder, kidnapping, rape, extortion, robbery, enslavement, and the every popular more murder; are all considered moral against non-muslims under Sharia when done to advance Islam (literally translated as “submission”). During his lifetime, Muhammed generally got a 20% cut of all the profits, and first pick of the slaves. He even allowed his gang members who were so inclined to rape the young boy prisoners to gain their support - with homosexual pedophilia much more widespread in the Islamic world to this day.

So it takes a lot of courage for muslims to think or speak the truth. God bless those that do. And God bless those with the courage to minister to them. The majority of muslims are not terrorists (they have never been free to choose). Unfortunately for them however, the majority of terrorists are muslims, and they use terror to keep the rest on their team.
