DOHA, Qatar BMWs AND 4x4s crammed the parking lot and pavements around the tall white mosque where worshippers were reciting the midday prayer.
Outside, in the suffocating 45C (113F) desert heat, perfectly paved, wide roads run alongside row after row of large, high-walled, residential compounds.

The Qatari’s will do their best to recruit these guys support of the Syrian rebel cause. They Qatari’s have the money (as we do), have the weapons (as we do), and we’re doing the rebel training in Qatar. All they need are bodies from Afghanistan. I bet they’ll pay a commission (as we will).
