There is already a nuclear arms race going on throughout the middle east. Saudi Arabia says it has bought Pakistani nukes. Syria, who lost their reactor to an Israeli raid says it has a new one, under Russian protection.
Strangely though, I think the first use of nukes will be an exchange between Islamic states. Saudi Arabia fears Iran, which has attempted to foster revolution in the kingdom. In my opinion, the kingdom is shaky.
Turkey apparently considered using its substantial navy to take ships all the way to the Palestinians. Probably somebody mentioned that Israel would indeed respond and losing has NEVER been an Israeli option.
Because of Obama the entire area is ripe for war and deaths on a massive, world war two scale. Amazing that the Nobel Peace laureate will be the cause of deaths on a scale not seen in nearly 70 years.
Our own allies, having seen Obama abandon our nuclear umbrella, are probably working feverishly to develop their own. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan probably already have a few as, for them, it’s only a matter of putting them together. They already have the technology and the materials. (Yeah, I know about Japan’s constitution. But then constitutions haven’t stopped Obama.)
Because of Obama, the world has become a tinderbox ready to burst into flame.
And I will always believe that is exactly what he wanted.
