Businessman and pro-life activist Richard Cash told Breitbart News here on Monday that a strong ground game is needed for a Tea Party candidate to unseat Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
Cash walked Breitbart News through his plan. Im going to put up a lot of signs. Im going to do a lot of meetings, he said. Were going to have a lot of feet on the ground in May. Thats what I did when I ran for Congress. Thats what I know to do. This race is not going to be won from 30,000 feet. Anyone who thinks they can just show TV commercials and beat Lindsey Graham is kidding themselves.
On the flip side, when asked if Graham can win the race by simply running commercials, Cash answered: Well, I hope not; that remains to be seen, Cash said. Its going to depend on the ground game of the best candidate. Youre not going to match him (Graham) commercial for commercial, or postcard for postcard.
I think its an uphill fight, Cash said. I mean thats an honest appraisal. But, look, were nine months from election day. A lot can happen in nine months; I mean, a lot can happen in nine days. But nine months is a long political time. So I cant understand why people would be writing this race off nine months from the finish line. Its like saying, okay, youre in the second mile of a marathon, and this guys going to win. I dont get that.

Graham is going to win for one reason. Graham will get 51 percent of the vote and the other 8 candidates will get 49.
I watched a ridiculous attack ad against Cash indicting him for his numerous jailings... not mentioning that every single one was for protesting infanticide clinics. Sounds like he would be a great senator
Tomorrow night or Wednesday morning, we’ll know.

What ground game ? The GOTV by Linda’s opponents has been almost non existent. Little or no media ads. Few if any mailings. The telephones have been silent. A few road signs. Maybe, God will cause a miracle to happen.
Graham is a sissy. He is a she man. I think he like boys. Get him gone.NO DAMNED AMNESTY!! EVER!!
FWIW, I've heard several predictions from well placed persons. Lowest: 42%, highest: 46%. Both are a long way from 50%. YMMV.
Oh, and it's not eight candidates, it's five: Cash, Connor, Bright, Mace, Dunn.
Thank you for sharing those predictions! I’ve asked for 45% or less.
Also have asked Him that may please LG come in third tomorrow and thanked Him for hearing my request and answering it.
Who do you like for Lt. Gov? And why?
I confess, I haven’t done my homework (not much antways), and now I’m scrambling. I could really use a set of Cliff’s Notes. ;)
My picks, FWIW:
Lt. Gov. - Ray Moore
Treas - Curtis Loftis
Education - Sheri Few
Adjutant - Bob Livingston
Ag - Hugh Weathers
Senate 1 - Cash
Senate 2- Tim Scott
Rep Dist 02 - Eddie McCain
YMMV
Thank you. I tend to share your views on most things. If I had time to do my own homework, I think I’d probably pick a lot of the same candidates. Do you have time to give me reasons for any of those picks? Or are you as short on time as I am these days?
I’ll check back here before we go to vote. Wish me luck deciding.
I intend to vote late this afternoon the same as upchuck for Education and both U.S.Senate seats, Pat McKinney for Lt.Gov and the likely losers for the other State jobs.
In primaries, I like to vote against Incumbents who are likely to be re-nominated.
No defensible reason why; just want to show general displeasure with the way things have been going in S.C., I suppose.
Good luck to you all and God Bless America.
