Harf says there is prior precedent, claiming during the run-up to the bin Laden raid Congress was not briefed. What is it with these glasses that these “psudo-intellectuals” like to wear? We used to call these people Geeks, Losers and Nerds. They now run the country...and the world sees the results.
That my FRiends, is the envelope within which our abusive government runs. Even when false, the claim that a prior president or congress did such and such, and therefore they may do so-and-so today, is politically sufficient to get away with almost any crime.
There is all manner of precedent for Obama and Scotus to rewrite laws as they please. Future presidents and judges will have this power.
Even with a President Ted Cruz, these powers would be in his hip pocket. That he would probably not use them, would not detract from the fact that he would be all but in name an elected dictator, probably benevolent, but a dictator nonetheless.
This is what a hundred years of structural corruption has done to our once republic. Consent of the governed is the first law of republics, and it is gone. Article I Section 1 clause 1 has been edited out of the constitution. It is why elections alone cannot remedy what ails us.

All U.S. credibility flies out the window every time she appears before a camera and opens up her trap.

I know the president has committed murder, but Andrew Jackson killed a person in a duel so there’s a precedence. It’s OK.

The Obama administration’s appointment of these young, clueless and completely unqualified people to positions of importance is actually meant to be another slap in the face and show how little Obama values our governmental entities and how unimportant is anything but Obama.

Andrea Mitchell confronted the lying Harf with her own personal experiences regarding Bin Laden briefings and Obama’s LIAR continued to lie. Incredible.
This is what happens when truth is not valued and justice is not swift and sure.
