'He was a hero': Tributes flood in for armed aspiring cop who confronted white supremacist gunman
Daily Mail (UK) ^ | 10 June 2014 | David Mccormack

Posted on 06/10/2014 8:25:53 AM PDT by dead

The civilian shot dead by a white supremacist couple on Sunday after he confronted them in a Las Vegas mall has been hailed a hero for his fearless bravery in attempting to protect others.

Joseph Wilcox, 31, was shopping in Wal-Mart when Jerad Miller and his wife Amanda Miller entered.

The couple had just killed two police officers and in the store, Jerad Miller fired one round and told everyone to get out.

Wilcox, who was legally carrying a concealed weapon, told his friends he was going to confront the gunman - not realizing that he had an accomplice.

Wilcox went from the checkout area to Jerad Miller and pulled his concealed firearm. But before he could fire, Amanda Miller shot him in the ribs and Wilcox collapsed.

‘Joseph died attempting to protect others. His death is completely senseless,’ said Sheriff Doug Gillespie.

'He had no idea the wife was walking behind him,' a police official told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

'This guy (Wilcox) was not some idiot with a gun. To me, he was a hero. He was trying to stop an active shooter.'

As usual....I need to go to FR to hear about this. Of course, FR picks it up on the wire from the UK....not in the US MSM.

A lot of liberals on other sites were bashing this guy. Their preferred method of self-defense is to pee themselves and beg for mercy.

Oddly, on most articles the Comments section at the Daily Mail has more Americans than Brits with the majority being conservative.

They're pretty matter-of-fact with their news coverage, displaying the sort of unbiased presentation of information that is almost impossible to find in American media.

Those articles are as easy not to click on when visiting English sites as they are on American ones.

Did BLM Feudal Lord Reid and his armed rustlers indirectly cause the deaths of the two innocent policemen and Wilcox in Las Vegas?

If Reid had not ordered the BLM armed invasion of the Bundy Ranch, would these two innocent policemen and Wilcox be alive today?

Perhaps it it is time to disarm the BLM?

BTW, just what is the magic size of a Federal Government when it becomes “TO BIG TO FAIL?”

Never assume an active shooter is alone.

I’m sorry, but those two were complete loons and didn’t need the help going off the deep end. There is plenty to blame Reid and the BLM about without going down that road.

Unfortunately he broke the number one rule during a shooting and that is two search for an accomplice.

He’s still a HERO in my book though.

I have had some pistol instruction, and one of the constants in all of the courses is the “plus one rule.” Always expect your adversary to have at least one partner. This man bravely stepped up to help the innocent. My prayers to his family and my admiration for his bravery.

To late.

MSNBC yesterday, (around 1330 hours), has already done so on this matter by making their demonize the Right case against “anyone critical of the Obama Administration.”

Sorry, but just because the Obama Admin pulls this kind of crap, it doesn’t mean our side is justified in responding in kind. The truth is enough.

” - - - The truth is enough. - - - “

I’ll settle for that.

PING me the next time that the Obama Administration, or MSNBC tells the truth.

You are missing the point. The truth is more than enough to make our case against them. We don’t have to go off half-baked with accusations just because they do. It weakens our case when we lower ourselves to their level.

As far as we know, these two idiots shot three white people while announcing a revolution which ended with their own suicides. I’m not sure how this equates to a rampage by white supremacists, the only supposed evidence is a flag which might have signified just anarchy in their minds.

Not much of a revolution to shoot a bystander and then yourself in a Walmart.

Mental illness fueled by substance abuse seems to be the only theme of any consequence in all of this.
