Get real:
A race “riot” is almost exclusively a contained disturbance in Black neighborhoods. If smart, the Blacks stay in their hood, and burn only that to the ground. Whites and others watch it from the suburbs on the TV with various emotional reactions. No big deal, no matter how the idiot press tries to spin it.
If it spills out of the hood, a race “war” between Blacks and Whites would last about a week, max. Add in the Hispanics and Asians - both of whom despise the Blacks much more than the Whites - and it ends in about 3-5 days, max. Everyone knows this, which is why it will stay contained in the hood, and why only fools in the non-Black communities give a rap about what the Blacks will do if the half-Kenyan gets the boot, the chips falling where they may and all that.
You may be right. But the PTB are afraid you may be wrong. They would all be glad for a martial law declaration from the Kenyan. So, do they want to rumble or not?
I try to stay real, I really do. But, and this a big but, there would be riots, and just as in the ‘Arab Spring’ governments can fall.
The question is how confident are the PTB that the Kenyan can hold it together.
I really do not know the answer to that one.
The damage, the burnings, the looting, the murders were pretty serious and it was largely conducted by the working poor in the inner cities. There really aren’t a lot of working poor in the inner cities.
Nothing to lose. Maybe new benefits to gain. I just don’t know. People are unpredictable beyond a general consensus that there would be consequences and it will not bode well for the governing classes in every city.
I would like to think that there are fair-minded people of every ilk who could come to realize that Odingo is a criminal as is his entire administration.
The Ceaucescus (been so long ago I am not sure of the spelling) in Romania with a massive tyrannical security apparatus ended up executed by their own people. I do believe the PTB do fear that. A spinning out of control that they end up hiding from to save their own hides.
