Flashback: Republican Cantor to Headline Anti-Tea Party Conference Sponsored by George Soros &

This was previously posted on April 9, 2014– Eric Cantor ought to have some free time in a few months to think about this.

So what’s this all about? Conservative writer and activist Brent Bozell, the founder and president of the Media Research Center, sent this letter to Majority Leader Eric Cantor on his decision to headline an anti-Tea Party event this weekend in Florida.

Dear Majority Leader Cantor:

Conservative leaders were stunned to learn that you will be headlining a conference in Florida this weekend that is, purely and simply, a direct attack on Tea Party conservatives. Worse still, this event is sponsored in part by ultra-liberal financier/activist George Soros and organized labor – both of which have openly, repeatedly – and often viciously – waged war on conservatives and Republicans for years.

What has possessed you to headline this event? Do you think so little of conservatives that you would directly insult them by attending?

Since Mitt Romney’s defeat in the 2012 presidential election a substantial rift has opened between the GOP’s congressional leadership and rank-and-file Republicans, grassroots conservatives and Tea Party supporters – the very activists who provided the energy, enthusiasm and mobilization that fueled the historic Republican victory in 2010 and gave you and your colleagues the House majority you hold today. You would not be Majority Leader today but for Tea Party conservatives. And you’re headlining an event sponsored by a leftist organization committed to its destruction.

Here is an old post on Cantor.

“Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava, who backs abortion rights and has voiced support for gay rights, has drawn a challenger from the right who is running on the Conservative Party line. And though House leaders have urged conference members to donate, many have pointedly refused to back Scozzafava.

The Club for Growth, Concerned Women of America, former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) and evangelical leader Gary Bauer have all endorsed Doug Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate.

The divide could foreshadow bigger troubles ahead for a party that hopes to make big gains in the House in 2010 and dreams of taking back the majority. Some members think that will be impossible as long as the party is divided over supporting centrist candidates.
snip
Just 17 members — about 10 percent of the GOP conference — have written checks to Scozzafava’s campaign. They include House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Pete Sessions (Texas) and Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who is in charge of recruiting candidates to run next year.
snip
In an effort to prove Scozzafava can attract conservatives, Sessions pushed Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) to step up and endorse her. After his announcement, Hensarling took shots from some prominent conservative blogs and media outlets, with some going so far as to lob unfounded charges about Hensarling’s personal life.
snip
Hensarling declined to be interviewed about his endorsement of Scozzafava. A spokesman said he had nothing to add to his statement, issued last Friday.
snip
Wednesday night, most of the House GOP leadership, including Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Sessions, conference Vice Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.) and conference Secretary John Carter (Texas) hosted a fundraiser for Scozzafava at the home of ex-Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.).”

The GOP-E has had control of the Nation’s purse strings for over 4 years.

Boehner has been in control as Speaker of the House for over 4 years.

Obama has thus been at the mercy of Boehner and the GOP-E for over 4 years.

Obama thus could not have been as successful as he has been without the full cooperation of the GOP-E and ESPECIALLY Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor, Whip McCarthy, Economist Ryan, Chairman Mike Rogers, Chairman Issa and loose cannon Peter King of NY.

As long as the Member Republicans in the US House choose to keep in place the above Leadership team, Obama will be able to continue his personal race to the bottom.

Obama, Reid, Holder and Pelosi are just doing what they have been raised up to do: Destroy America, ASAP. They are Public Enemy Number One.

Those who refuse to oppose the destruction of our Republic are Public Enemy Number Two.

BTW, when have “ - - conservatives - - - ,” Boehner, Cantor, or Ryan EVER “Conserved” anything when doing battle with Obama, Reid, Holder or Pelosi? Hmmmmmmmmm?

____________________

The only thing that matters in politics is to stay on offense.

The GOP-E has perfected the art of always staying on defense.

Thus, the GOP-E will continue to lose elections by wide margins.

R Sc Rep. Trey Gowdy is an exception to the shunning of Offense by the GOP-E.

Gowdy has the required fire-in-the-belly to attack, Attack, ATTACK!

I stand with Gowdy, Lee and Cruz, who so far have told the truth, and then refused to apologize for telling the TRUTH.

The Republican Party has come a long ways since 2012.

In 2012, then GOP-E candidate Romneycare Romney published a book entitled “No Apologies.”

Also in 2012 Romneycare Romney told the truth about the 47 % who pay no personal FI Taxes, and thus would not vote for him.

Two weeks later, Romney apologized, saying “I was completely wrong.”

The GOP-E lost the support of Conservatives when GHW Bush lied to us about “Read my lips, NO NEW TAXES!”

The GOP-E lost the support of the “Hold-your-nose-when-you-vote” segment in 2008 by voting for McCain.

The GOP-E revealed itself to be a dedicated loser when they chose to run Romneycare Romney against Obamacare Obama.

Now we have “Scandal Coverup Artist” Sobber Boehner caving in to Obama, Reid, Holder and Pelosi on a weekly basis.

We need to march into the US House of Representatives and “escort” out the above mentioned “Leaders” for a TEA Party “reception” on the Lawn of the US House.

I have the tar, y’all bring the feathers!

There was also some RINO-backed shenanigans where Cantor and his crew kept Morton Blackwell’s conservative, Young Republicans he brought in from the Leadership Institute penned up in the bus and refused to let them vote on the floor at the convention. They got their revenge today.

Sadly, many who wear the Jewish label are virtually JINOs. They don’t really take much of a stand for God and His Word; they are far left libs politically, they vote with the democRATS almost exclusively, and the majority of them don’t give a damn about Israel or the outrageous treatment they’re getting from the Obunga regime! IMHO.

Eric, if you lie with a conservative hating dog (Soros)... you’ll wake up with a flea (Brat). You did and now Brat’ll take your seat, because he knows what Americans want.
