Yeah to the duplicitous and slimy Cantor stepping down as Leader. My suspicion is that an equally slimy replacement will be found by Boehner.

Uhm politico?

Is he just stepping down as leader or quitting altogether?

Cantor and Boehner need to ram through Amnesty before the August 1st summer recess.

Is the majority leader an appointed position or does the majority select him?

Doubt it. Boehner is crying his eyes out right now. When he’s done he’ll be too scared to do anything.

Stepping down as Majority Leader. Right after the RINOS pass Amnesty with the Democrats before the Aug 1 recess.

duplicitous and slimy

Yes, sadly, that's what the American people are always seeking.

I predict Jeb Hensarling will replace Cantor as majority leader. He is supposed to be fairly conservative.

If thewe mrons try to push amnesty now they can kiss 2016 goodbye.

He’s chosen by the misguided membership.

Then this same majority membership gets to vote to replace him. Lets hope they have their eyes focused on winning this November and not on pleasing John Boehner. Boehner won’t be the next speaker of the house in all likelihood.

That means they have no reason to expect a reward from him.

No, I think they got it right. ‘Meteoric’ as in....crash down to possible annihilation. He and the rest of the GOPe have pretty much trashed the brand as ‘small gov’t’

The only reason he would wait until July 31 to resign is to pass
Amnesty on the way out.

technically, once it crashes to the ground, it’s a meteorite, not a meteor.
