On Monday, the House Oversight Committee investigating the IRS targeting scandal released new e-mails that showed Lois Lerner sent a database of tax exempt organizations to the FBI right before the 2010 midterm elections.
So what was the reaction of anchors and reporters at the Big Three (ABC, CBS, NBC ) networks to the release of federally protected confidential taxpayer information? A big fat yawn. So far no one at the Big Three evening or morning shows have reported on this most recent development in the IRS-Tea Party targeting scandal.

According to a release from House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, Lerner had a database of tax exempt organizations sent to the FBI just before the 2010 midterm elections. That database included legally protected taxpayer information. Emails show Lerner and DOJ Election Crimes Branch official Richard Pilger discussing what format the FBI prefers when it comes to receiving information for their investigation...

This government is no longer legitimate.

Nothing wrong with open borders.
Nothing wrong with incurable diseases returning.
Nothing wrong with millions losing real health care.
Nothing wrong with arming al Qaeda during War.

Try to imagine what other confidential health information will now be accessed by every sleazy politician and DC lawyer.
Either the law applies equally to all, or it applies to none.
26 U.S. Code § 7213 - Unauthorized disclosure of information
a) Returns and return information
(1) Federal employees and other persons
It shall be unlawful for any officer or employee of the United States or any person described in section 6103 (n) (or an officer or employee of any such person), or any former officer or employee, willfully to disclose to any person, except as authorized in this title, any return or return information (as defined in section 6103 (b)). Any violation of this paragraph shall be a felony punishable upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution, and if such offense is committed by any officer or employee of the United States, he shall, in addition to any other punishment, be dismissed from office or discharged from employment upon conviction for such offense.

(2) Department of Justice
In a matter involving tax administration, a return or return information shall be open to inspection by or disclosure to officers and employees of the Department of Justice (including United States attorneys) personally and directly engaged in, and solely for their use in, any proceeding before a Federal grand jury or preparation for any proceeding (or investigation which may result in such a proceeding) before a Federal grand jury or any Federal or State court, but only if—
(A) the taxpayer is or may be a party to the proceeding, or the proceeding arose out of, or in connection with, determining the taxpayer’s civil or criminal liability, or the collection of such civil liability in respect of any tax imposed under this title;
(B) the treatment of an item reflected on such return is or may be related to the resolution of an issue in the proceeding or investigation; or
(C) such return or return information relates or may relate to a transactional relationship between a person who is or may be a party to the proceeding and the taxpayer which affects, or may affect, the resolution of an issue in such proceeding or investigation.
The House needs to imprison her.
But one day the peasants will eat the EXEMPT for dinner.
Just why isn’t this criminal, lerner, in prison for her many crimes?
The next US AG will prosecute her for felonies committed.
So does the GOP leadership.
Conservatives have to fight this battle alone. The Republican leaders surrendered to Obama and won’t use this as weapon to reign in Obama.
Lois should be locked up under the jail!

In a just society, she’d already be doing hard time.
No one see ABC,CBS or NBC's 'news departments' as a part of the 'BIG THREE'... They coast on the big money brought in my the crappy little shows that are aimed at low information voters.
If the 'news departments' of the 'big three' were independent they would be smaller than MSNBC...
