Rand Paul throws weight behind immigration reform [AMNESTY] effort

Makes calls with Grover Norquist seeking conservative support

Sen. Rand Paul on Wednesday waded deeper into an issue that has proved perilous to some of his GOP colleagues, throwing his political weight behind an establishment lobby effort to get Congress to reform the country’s immigration system this year.

Mr. Paul, a libertarian-leaning Republican from Kentucky and possible 2016 presidential hopeful, participated in a telephone conference call to conservative and business leaders in favor of immigration reform in an effort brokered by anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, The Washington Times has learned.

The business group, the Partnership for a New American Economy, immediately blasted an email Wednesday evening to supporters crowing that Mr. Paul had formally joined its pro-reform effort.

The timing of the call only heightened the potential stakes for Mr. Paul just one day after House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was shockingly ousted from office in the Virginia Republican primary in favor of a little-known college professor.

Tea party activists who whipped up a get-out-the-vote effort for Mr. Cantor’s opponent said they were motivated by the incumbent’s advocacy for immigration reform, actions on Obamacare and vote to raise the nation’s debt ceiling.

Mr. Cantor was the second high-profile Republican to suffer political damage by stepping forward on the immigration issue. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, another potential presidential contender, lost the support of his tea party base when he advocated a plan for immigration that some argued created a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Mr. Paul, a longtime favorite of the tea party movement, has made it clear that he believes Congress needs the courage to enact immigration reform.

It’s called the hubris and arrogance of the political elite.

They don’t get it and never will. Too much money to be made from their corporate masters.

Courage. I love the way they think it is courageous to ignore the rule of law. It is courageous to ignore your constituants and govern against their will. It is courageous to be beholden to the Chamber of Commerce who want a new influx of illegal aliens for cheap labor. It is courageous to falsely frame the argument that refusing to enforce the law means the law is broken. It is courageous to reward people who came to our country illegally, used falsified government documents to secure employment, and services for which they are not qualified. Courageous to reward people that couldn’t care less about this country, they are only here to take. I guess I will add him to the list of rinos I will not support from here forward.

Not one quote by Paul, pure spin by GOPe operatives trying to split conservatives so they can nominate Jeb Bush.

Why would we want to let more potential workers into the U.S. when we have so many, way too many, people sitting on porches when they could be working, producing goods instead of drawing unemployment checks?

I don’t think “it’s Bush’s fault” is going to cut it. They quote the guy who runs Paul’s PAC.

“A top Paul aide confirmed the alliance of Mr. Paul and Mr. Norquist on immigration reform, after The Times received a copy of an email sent to Republicans, Democrats, independents and others thought to be open to some kind of reform.

“Rand made the calls on immigration reform with Grover this morning,” Doug Stafford, who heads Mr. Paul’s political action committee, told The Times.

The email from the group announcing Mr. Paul’s participation opened with a subject line that stated that the senator “adds voice to #CallForReform.”

“Today, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) joined Grover Norquist to talk about the importance of passing immigration reform this year on the second call in a series with conservative leaders,” the group’s executive director, Jeremy Robbins, wrote in the email.

The message went on to note that “Senator Paul follows Sal Russo, co-founder of the Tea Party Express, who launched the series last month by calling for an overhaul of America’s immigration laws this year.”

The email concluded by noting that Mr. Paul and Mr. Russo “join an increasingly large group of conservatives who understand that the future of our economy depends on fixing our outdated immigration reform system.”

It absolutely is Cloward-Piven in action - right there for all to see.

For those who don’t understand what Cloward-Piven is and how Obama ties in DIRECTLY with those who swore to destroy America through the very actions that Obama has done, please see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3164857/posts?page=59#59 for an overview. This is a movement that Obama was directly connected to, as the co-author of the Cloward-Piven “Strategy of Manufactured Crisis” was also the co-founder of The New Party which was formed to carry out that plan. Barack Obama was a signed member of The New Party.

The strategy of manufactured crisis is also something that KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov spoke about as one step in the process to overthrow an enemy country from within. It’s the step immediately following the DEMORALIZATION step - and anybody hearing the defeatism and resigned acceptance of our supposed inability to take our country back will easily recognize that as the fulfillment of the demoralization step. Anybody who hasn’t heard Yuri Bezmenov’s description of that process should see the youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlpODYhnPEo and/or read the transcript at https://mcalvanyintelligenceadvisor.com/demoralization-destabilization-insurgency-normalization

What we are seeing today is the culmination of decades of work on the part of Obama and his puppet-masters, to destroy this country. This is NOT “incompetence” as the regime would have us believe. Obama belonged to the groups that planned exactly what he is doing right now, to exactly the results we’re seeing right now.

Obama is a foreign enemy combatant who was placed into our White House to finally complete the coup to overthrow America. I don’t know any way to say it more clearly than that.

Larry Sellin overheard one of the 2012 R primary candidates explain to a questioner that nobody will touch Obama’s eligibility problem because they all know that the treachery goes WAY deeper than anybody is willing to delve. IOW, they KNOW Obama being in our White House is treachery. They’re just afraid to confront it because they know how deep this hydra’s tentacles go into every aspect of American life. They know that 2008 was a coup long in the works by America’s enemies.

And now we’re seeing our enemies’ fangs shown more and more openly - with our enemies gloating and trampling all over everything, aided by the foreign enemy combatant who always serves the interests of the Islamists and communists and never serves the needs of a free America.

“Al Qaeda is inside the building”, said the Benghazi witness to Congress.

Indeed.
