The US secretary of state, John Kerry, launched a new global effort on Wednesday to save oceans “under siege” from over-fishing, plastic pollution and climate change. Kerry said he hoped to build momentum for the protection effort at a two-day summit at the State Department next week. Well... those things are true. And they need to be dealt with in an intelligent way.
However, the government, and especially Kerry, will try to blow as much money as they can while accomplishing nothing.

ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL to get the mounting problems off the front page. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if tomorrow NASA was asked to startup an emergency asteroid deflection project.
I think that the question needs to be asked. At this rate, WHO will actually want the job of President in 2016?

I believe the world’s oceans are something that Kerry and this entire administration ought to get to the bottom of.
