Obama: Cantor Loss Doesn’t Mean Immigration Reform’s Dead

President Obama spoke at a Democratic Party fundraiser Wednesday night and addressed the Beltway conventional wisdom that Eric Cantor‘s defeat at the hands of Dave Brat, an unknown on the national stage, means immigration reform is dead. Obama stated unequivocally that he “fundamentally reject[s]” that idea.

The president remarked on how pundits are declaring immigration reform dead and declared, “I fundamentally reject that. I will tell the Speaker of the House that he needs to reject that. Because if you met those kids today, you would know that politics can’t play a part in it.”

Obama talked about the importance of standing up for what you believe in and added that yesterday’s Virginia primary shows “not that there was too little politics––there was too little conviction about what was right.

But why are those kids there, Mr. President?

Whose policy brought them there, Mr. President?

What were those secret meetings between Valerie Jarrett and those immigrant family groups about, Mr. President?

Why have you brought these children out to the American desert instead of leaving them safe at home with their families, Mr. President?

Mr. President, the American border is on fire, but you struck the match.

Can someone explain why, all of a sudden, we're getting parentless children crossing our borders by the thousands?

What set this in motion?

Obama orchestrated this invasion with the help of the Mexican government to pressure Republicans to sign off on amnesty. He should be impeached for this gross breaking of the law, and every Democrat should be voted out. No political party that uses poor illiterates from the third world for political purposes should go unpunished.

I guess as long as Obamao has his phone and his pen (and AG Eric Holder), it isn’t dead.

He’s right, you know. Communism never dies; it just changes shapes and flavors.
This piece of trash is out to create one-party rule in order to relegate Christian influence down to nothing.

Well being of Mexican ancestry all I can say is this is a full invasion that was planned. I am so furious right now to what is happening to my nation. I have a brother who belongs to a Hispanic group who support Illegal Immigration and believe me. Him and I are split in our views. Pretty much like Benjamin Franklin and his son. One a patriot and one a loyalist. If it comes to that when the crap hits the ceiling and I have to chose side and must distance myself so be it. I will not go down on my hands and knees to just hand over this nation to foreigners and liberals. Our only hope is that liberals get mugged by the illegals and wake up to reality, but I doubt it. This invasion has to stop yet I hold Congress in contempt for just sitting there and let Damien Thorn do whatever he dam will feels. I am so glad that Cantor is gone, that is simply a warning shot if they don’t wake up. Yet they don’t care because it is not their ox that is being gored. Believe me there are many American Mexicans who love this country but the media refuse to acknowledge them. When I am channel surfing and stop on Spanish News all they talk is how to circumvent our immigration laws. There is no way in hell I want this nation to become Mexico or any other country. If a civil war comes to this, so be it.
