White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Wednesday that the administration was “watching very carefully” the rise of a new growing threat in the Middle East, the al-Qaeda-affiliated Sunni group calling itself the “Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL), which has already seized control of two Iraqi cities in two days and is threatening to take Baghdad as well.

It includes a large part of Syria, as well. These are the same people that Obama wanted to arm in Syria. The WSJ has a map, although they claim that the US was caught off guard by the move.
The white house needs to quit messing around and start sending out tweets so they can show those Sunnis we are serious!

They certainly are watching it. In fact, Obama is probably cheering the rise of the new caliphate.
I saw photos today of ISIL digging out the border installations between Syria and Iraq, because they have proclaimed the entire area the new trans-national caliphate and there will be no national divisions. It will all be warlords under Islam.
Followed by that famously effective strongly worded letter. Pray for guidance, times ahead will be very challenging.
Everywhere you look abroad (and at home), our problems are snowballing at a rapidly accelerating pace.

Look for a new Middle Eastern war to break out, if and it is not a matter of if, but when, Israel will be dragged in because of their promise to support Jordan. Israel will simply hand over to any new caliphate its REARENDS, mark my words.

Was there a reason Obama bowed to the Saudi King....a signal to the Muslim world? Releasing the “Muslim Dream Team” in total disregard for his Nation’s safety and complete disregard to the treasure and blood spent in trying to lift oppression from Islamic Extremist.....in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is regarded as a Muslim in the Arab world, because he was born to a Muslim father; he has also acknowledged his Muslim faith. I think we have the answer now as to Obama’s disregard of Christianity etc. and his bowing to Islam.
