Methadone detox complete?
For the electric chair, right?
I wonder how long until he is fit for White House photo op? Will he be wearing his evil American uniform for said photo-op?
Brainwash ... Done!
He needs to be taken straight to the military prison in Ft Leavenworth.
- Little “Bowe” is going to be Obama’s new personal hot tub attendant and towel boy
Just in time for the Friday afternoon news dump!
Interesting timing after Hagel was grilled over it yesterday.
This jerkopff doesn’t even actually know he’s a sergeant since his promotions were automatic in his absence. And refering to him as sergeant is a dis-service to everyone who actually earned the stripes. Did another dumbass actually sew some stripes on a uni for him to wear home?
What if he is a real Manchurian candidate? First joint press conference he tries to take out Obama. Wouldnt that kick over a hornets nest?
Note to NSA, I am not advocating just postulating.
I’m holding judgment on this. I read today that he was discharged during basic training from the Coast Guard on mental health grounds and should probably never have been allowed to enlist in the Army.
I guess he now remembers how to say “I don’t recall.” in English.
I'm not sure the NSA cares about such subtle distinctions. When the only tool you have is a door basher pretty soon everything starts looking like a threat.
And most likely to a military base and spirited away. He’ll be presented to the nation at the Rose Garden where 0bama will officially welcome this ‘hero’ back.
“Methadone detox complete?”
No, his programming is complete.
It’s about time —
Is the Code Pink parade ready for him now.
This AH is probably scared s#@less.......
They probably haven’t informed him he is not being viewed as being respected by the majority.
Oh well, sucks to be you Booie
How did the Army not know this ?
I don’t see any way around desertion since he wasn’t where he was supposed to be AND he sent his possessions home prior to the desertion AND he snuck out rather than doing it in broad daylight.
What that means is that he (1) knew it was wrong (2) planned for it, and (3) did it anyway.
Arguing mental defect requires not being aware of right and wrong.
In my active duty time, I did have 2 soldiers have total psychotic breaks. They were institutionalized, treated, and eventually discharged to the loving care of the Veterans Administration.
I can think of a couple of ways that a basic training mental defect discharge from one service could then be re-enlisted in another service. (1) An all clear from doctors, (2) Claim of a defect that wasn’t itself officially considered harmful...homosexuality comes to mind coupled with a claim of persecution or abuse (3) lowering of Army standards to accept Cat 4/defectives due to low enlistment rates,
They white washed his DD214’s reenlistment code in the same fashion the VA whitewashed so many vets info.
Hopefully on his way to Leavenworth very soon
Why don’t they quit calling that tratorous SOB sergeant? He was never a POW and it was illegal to promote him while he was AWOL.
It was like that back in the 70's too. I finally discharged a thug who was a barracks thief and discipline problem. Come to find out he had a long juvenile record with serious crimes, but the recruiter took him anyway.
He’s a traitor with really bad amnesia. I’m sure the media has their marching orders.. Ready, America?
We had a guy in the CG that was there(70’S) as he told us it was prison or the CG.He took the CG and was later jailed for breaking into the EM Club.
Let’s make a deal...fly him back to Afghanistan and drop him off to his buddies, landing or parachute isn’t required...
I’ve no use for someone who walks away from their post leaving his crew short handed while going on walkabout searching for the tallies.
The last I heard, Bowe refuses to be addressed as “Sgt.” Hmmmm.. That’s either hatred for America or shameful of his defection.
Had a couple like that in my company at Cape May. They were quickly routed to the punishment company then routed out the gate.
That's the way I see it also. It was premeditated and he deserted, period.
I would like to think 0bama won't interfere by swaying the brass against bringing charges and sending him before an Article 32 hearing but will not hold my breath.
At the very least he needs to get the seat with the busted seat belt...
This kid is going to be protected almost as good as the president...With his family as well...
They are all, already victims, thanks to the preconceived narrative on this terrorist/deserter trade...
We shall see...I am thinking he may not be seen coming off that plane in uniform...
I would not be surprised if he did, at some point, sport some “stripes”...
Maybe black and white ones...that would be interesting...But figure those odds...
On his way to BAMC and a MEB process for seperation with honorable discharge. The skids are greased.
If they discharge him, I think it’s all over. Hamdaniya (sp) proved they can bring a discharged soldier to trial for a capital offense committed while on active duty, but I don’t think that law applies to any offense. They would have to find a way to directly link him to the deaths of those searching for him. If they ever proved he did attack Americans, they could probably bring him back for trial for that, but there’s nothing I’ve read that even suggests that.
this guy made it to my station in Miami then just couldn’t help himself..Got about 10 bucks from the club register....What an ingnorant AH
If that is the case, I’m apologize to my friends in the Army, but damn...
You guys could not be that hard up for personnel??? Right???
I visited a burned unit member at Brook once upon a time. They are an awesome team.
If he gets discharged, then this is all over, unless there is some kind of serious mental issue that would require immediate institutionalization. Even then, iirc, he’d still be discharged after a bit and handed over to the VA.
He’ll be landing at Lackland/Kelly around 0200L. I doubt anyone will see him other than the flight nurse crew, some MPs and the van driver that hustles him away to BAMC.
I can think of plenty of guys who are willing to pick him up at the airport if he needs a ride.
Yes, it is curious, isn't it? And neither of those options makes 0bama look good. I'm guessing we'll be in for a change of tune on that topic.
I could see him being presented a medal - hey, maybe one of the silver stars Kerry threw over the fence - in a highly-publicized ceremony...on the day Baghdad falls...
Stevie, Army recruiters are known for their creativeness in overcoming obstacles, especially ones stationed in rural Idaho with a quota to fill.
So the brainwashed weasel is returning to the States on Friday the 13th underneath a full moon with a dash of solar flares.
Should be interesting.
Don’t US Army General Orders provide for the death penalty for leaving a sentry/guard post on the battlefield?
This guy didn’t wander off base to smoke some weed or chug a beer. He abandoned his SAW and other kit in the middle of the night at a forward combat post, made his way past the concertina wire without alerting the rest of the guard and continued on with compass in hand headed in a specific direction.
All this in one of the most desolate and dangerous areas of afghanistan. Do a Google image search with terms: Paktika FOB.
It looks like the moon, little vegetation or visible soil, just rocks any one of which could have rolled the wrong way and alerted his unit.
I just can’t see how he can escape the desertion charge. It almost as if his every action checked all the boxes and damn, the guy scored a hundred. Old vets have told me he could have tried and executed right there on the spot.
Beardless dancing Bowe.
